Reviews were not so positive. Mentioned more than once that the shirts were somewhat scratchy. Mine arrived yesterday and have had one on all day, not only do I find it adequately soft but also not at all see through as I have reviewed in several reviews. I am so far completely satisfied. Have a couple of more on order. After I wash all these and they go through the dryer that will tell the real story!

I ordered this thinking it was a typical long sleeve T-shirt... meaning that I thought it would be a loose fitting shirt. I wouldn’t consider this shirt that. It’s T-shirt material (kinda) but its more fitting than I thought it would be. I’m a petite woman and the small is more fitting than I would like but it does get the job done. I would just order a size up if you are wanting a typical T-shirt fit. There’s nothing wrong with the shirt though

Good, basic black shirt to go with everything. I ordered 3x because I know Gildan runs small. It is just right for a normal 2x person. It washes well and is just the right length - not too long, not too short. It is flattering.

The shirts are a nice weight and the cut through the torso is very comflrtable without looking sloppy. The only drawback, and I have this problem with most tops, is that the sleeves became noticeably too short after the first wash. I used a cold water, delicate cycle and a low-heat delicate dry and still had more shrinkage than I was expecting. The shirts are for work so they will be servicable, but I would hesitate buying more.

If there is anything negative, it would be that the sleeves are a little long. Otherwise the shirt fits, feels and looks as expected.

As advertised, these are 100 percent cotton shirts, but the cotton is of poor quality; it is rough and scratchy. Look for ring spun or combed cotton ora blended fabric to get a better hand to the fabric. These also wrinkle terribly in the wash, making them suitable only as undershirts— if only they were softer! Their redemption is price. So cheap that I use them over other shirts as I d house work

These shirts are henious. I knew they'd be cheap. I figured that. But the lengths to which these suck is far beyond expectation. There's hardly any stretch at all. I'm only 5'4" & I can't pull the sleeves over my hands. It feels crappy to bend my arms.If u need just any long sleeve shirt, fine, but please search to find ANYTHING else.

The shirts are great quality , but run a bit small ):

Fit at least two sizes too small. Shrank after wash and dry. The material is not very soft and feels rather scratchy on skin. I’m hoping they will soften after several washes (that’s what happened with the t-shirts I bought from the same brand). I will buy more if my theory is verified! It’s hard to find%100 cotton long sleeve tops and My skin is very sensitive to synthetic fabric.Update: after several washes, they have faded and still quite scratchy. Will not buy again and do not recommend these t shirts.

I ordered these black shirts because of the 100% cotton to wear under some of my short sleeves and for the summer heat to keep me cooler. I started reading reviews after ordering this and was shocked to find that some reviews complained of being cheap quality or scratchy material. I tried to cancel my order but was to late so it still arrived. I decided to at least take it out of the package and look and I was Very Surprised to find the quality reviews are what I received. Both my black shirts are good quality, very soft and I ordered a large and it fit just how I liked it, not to snug. I will wash in cold water and maybe hang to dry to keep from shrinking, but even a bit of shrinkage would be fine. I highly recommend the black shirts.

This shirt launders well and works well under my short sleeved shirts for wintertime. I love the crispness of pure cotton percale and the crispness and slight scratchiness of pure cotton. Because I find even a small amount of spandex or polyester in a cotton fabric leaves me feeling uncomfortable, damp or hot, I really love the real cotton breathability of this fabric and its texture. If you prefer a really silky soft sensation, this is not the type of shirt for you. But I love this type of fabric.

I was not pleased with this product.- rough texture- odd smell- bad stitching- thin materialThe shirts were not made well and does not feel comfortable to wear at all. I do not recommend buying this product.

I ordered two sizes up as per suggested in other reviews but I should have just ordered my size or maximum one size up. However, I love my new, bright white, long sleeve shirts. Would definitely order again!
