Arrived bent and with no instructions on how to put together. Worthless

Very flimsy construction. Pieces will come apart if you try and move unit. Shelves are very thin and easy to bend. They would not stand up to anything heavy being put on them. Definitely not heavy duty as stated in product review.

Instructions were fine, it took a a little bit to figure out but not difficult to put together. It works really well for my purpose of displaying books or simply getting them out of boxes. I will be purchasing a second unit. I actually get a lot of compliments for how it looks it my office bringing everything together. Using 2 units will make a wall of shelves at a SUPER AFFORDABLE price (<1500). I like how it came together.

*** DO NOT OPEN THE BOX INSIDE YOUR HOME *** The primary parts are not placed inside any plastic and are packaged freely with super thin styrofoam sheets between them. As a result, the parts had rubbed-up against these flimsy styrofoam sheets and created a snow-globe effect of tiny styrofoam pieces inside the whole box. I mean it when I say "snow-globe" of styrofoam pieces. Just picture a snow-globe when you shake it up and that's what I found when I opened the packaging. I had already opened the box inside and couldn't take it outside without making a bigger mess everywhere. Because styrofoam already sticks to everything, I couldn't just wipe it off either and any slight movement made everything worse. So it ended up taking me 40 minutes just to vacuum each part piece-by-piece as I unpackaged everything. Then, on top of that, all the holes for the shelves were filled with the tiny styrofoam pieces which I also had to vacuum out which took another 20 minutes. So before I could even begin putting it together, I wasted 60 minutes just dealing with the impacts of this poorly designed packaging. In all my days, I have never encountered packaging that was so bad that it created a mess like this inside the box. On top of that, everything had moved around in the box, so one of the legs was scratched and one of the shelves dented on both edges. It also came with a tiny plastic mallet, but it's worthless. You'll need your own proper rubber mallet if you want to secure the shelves into the holes properly.*** ONE OF THE PRODUCT IMAGES IS FALSE AND MISLEADING *** One of the product images clearly shows that when this product is used as two separate shelving units, one unit should be taller than the other. That is completely false. Both halves of the legs are the same height at 39 inches when used as two shelving units or a total height of 78 inches when combined together as one shelving unit. So if you are ordering this with the expectation of using this product as two separate shelving units -- with one unit being taller than the other as depicted in the image -- I can confirm that is not what I got. Plus, if you use it as two separate shelving units, there are not enough plastic end-caps to put on the top-and-bottom of the legs when used this way. There are only enough plastic end-caps for the top-and-bottom when used as one shelving unit. So, when used as two units, you will have to decide whether you want to split-up the end-caps for use on the top of the legs or the bottom of the legs of each unit, or use all end-caps on one unit top-and-bottom and none on the other, etc.

idk what other reviewers are complaining about. Mine is wicked sturdy. Perfect utility shelf for a small workspace
