The turrets rotate and the hull have printed insignia of the Japanese Imperial Army. Tank is made from stiff tan color ABS and Polypropylene plastic, measures 2.44 inches wide x 2.35 inches tall x 5.6 inches long and is approximately 1:38 scale.This tank's official designation is Kyūnana-shiki chū-sensha Chi-ha (1937's medium tank model 3). Approximately 1,162 were produced from 1938 to 1942. They were first deployed in the Second Sino-Japanese War, then the Battles of Khalkhin Gol against the Soviet Union, and finally against the Allies in WW2.These tanks were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around 1996. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make them available to today's youngsters. Good for WW2 play &war gaming!
Compared to other tanks in this series a little on the small size! But in reality the real Japanese chi ha tanks were by compare small! So these tanks work well for game play with 35th scale figures! Arrived fast and in very good condition!
