I purchased those locks to secure the cupboards in my kitchen. I had a feeling they will not last long against my son as he is quite strong for a 18mo. It took him about 5minutes to figure out how to open them major design fault!: using a blue smiley face on the locks actually attracts the attention while it should be as plain as possible), but that was not the worst part.The double sided tape used with this product is so bad it actually comes off on its own! not too mention with the slightest pull of the doors where the clip might last but the whole thing will just come off the door or the side.I have made every precaution when attaching, degreased and cleaned the surfaced thoroughly before installing, spent a couple minutes on each lock pressing them tightly into the surfaces to make sure they do not fall off.. and all for nothing.Extremely disappointed with this product.

initially thought these were fab but quickly changed my mind. firstly they are quite flimsy and the little blue disc pops off really easily and so is a choking hazard. secondly these are a really weak lock so if your child doesn't figure out how they open (which only takes a really light touch) then with a firm yank of the cupboard door they pop open anyway sometimes with the whole front hinge of these popping off at the same time.

not to secure better options out there

Not very gd. Didn't keep my son out of anything. He still manages to get into everything! One swift pull and they just spring open. And now that I no longer need them the foam sticky back won't come of the doors!!

Although for me I bought them as safety locks for my doors to keep my dogs out of my rooms, and sadly, the locks don't work for that purpose!Though for its actual purpose they are fine, and I thoroughly recommend it!

For the most part they did the job, took more than one attempt to stick a couple to the draws as they weren't that sticky, but for price can't really argue.

I have these on a number of cupboards and drawers around the house and they do a good job of keeping my son out of cupboards he doesn't belong in.
