Husqvarna 445e-Series II (50cc) Cutting Kit Includes Chainsaw, 18" Bar/Chain Plus 3 WoodlandPRO Chain Loops

First time I pulled the starter string it was limp and no retraction. The recoil spring in the starter assembly is broken. I have had Stihls and Husqvarnas in the past and have never had a problem right out of the box. I am beyond frustrated as I am in the jungle six hours northwest of Panama City, Panama. Even if the company makes good and sends me a new starter assembly, I am not really sure how it can help my current situation. The nearest town is an hour and a half away, and they sell only cheap junk $100 saws. Although at this point at least I can test it before buying… I’m really not even sure how this saw made it past any quality control check. They must have hand wound the string to put it in the saw with no retraction. Beyond frustrated and disappointed. If I could give it a zero for charging $400 for a product that wasn’t looked over before going out the door I would. I’m also sure just bad luck on my part, but I won’t buy another Husqvarna.

I just now fired it up and the chain that came on the saw bound up. I thought it might be the bar but it was the chain. Fortunately I ordered the 3 extra chains. I changed the chain to one of the 3 and everything worked as expected. I could imagine that someone that doesn't have the mechanical experience i have would be in a total panic. I need to get another chain from Husqvarna because I bought a saw with 4 chains, the original and the 3 extra, but at this point I'm not sure how to do that. Once I installed the new chain...I like the saw.

The pull cord broke on this the second time I tried to operate it. I had not opened the box right away because I didn’t need it and by the time I started using it, I was outside the window to return it. I would certainly not purchase this again and hate I can’t return it. Now I have to spend more money just to get it working. Bad!

This saw works great for both large and smaller trees. Definitely a better chainsaw then one you'd buy at a big box store. Worth the money!

Purchased this last year. This Husqvarna 445 saw shipped fast from this company, and the extra chains are a great bonus. It starts fast and runs smooth with much appreciated reduced vibration. I filed down the chain rakers .002 and nice wood chips come out with these chipper tooth chains. It comes with the thinner chain that if kept sharp, easily cuts thru whatever you feed it. Balance with 18” bar is nice, and weight is better than the old stihl I used.This saw can cut wood all day long and your arms will appreciate the anti vibration . I would not hesitate to buy one again.

My husband loves this saw. It was a great gift. He won’t let anyone else use it. He said it’s the best chainsaw he’s ever owned.

I have moved from Stihl to Husky and like this saw. It is my 3rd Husky and runs fine, good value and like the extra chains. Most of all...they ship to Calif as many other saws on Amazon will not.

I am very satisfied with it. However I was disappointed with the amount of plastic in its construction. Time will tell how well it will hold up. Ask me again in 5 years.
