POURfect Mixing Bowls 1010-6 & 8 Cups - Pink

I use my stand mixer a lot. I have tried various bowls and measuring cups to transfer ingredients into a moving mixer, not an easy feat. Most times some of the carefully measured flour ends up on counter and all over the side of the mixer. Frustrating. I like these bowls because they are light in weight, have rubber on the bottom so they stay put, have these wings over the top to funnel the ingredients to the spout so you can pour with accuracy, also have a little protruding nub under the spout that acts like a sweet spot to perfectly position the spout on the edge of the bowl to neatly deliver the ingredients into the mixer. They do have cup measure markings inside the bowls. My bowls are black and are a little hard to read, but I weigh everything so not an issue for me.

I bought these bowls to use with my Kitchenaid stand mixer. I do not have the pouring shield and have been having a heck of a time adding ingredients while the mixer is going (although my kitchen is getting wiped down more often now). These bowls have solved my problem.The little lip just under the pour spout enables you to kind of hook it onto the bowl, too, making pouring even easier. They are a simple, simple solution to what was a big frustration for me.Also, we've been making ice cream a lot this summer and the big bowl holds enough for the Kitchenaid ice cream maker. Since you should chill your ice cream base before freezing it and these bowls are much more compact than the stainless one I had been using, they save a lot room in my overcrowded 'fridge. And there's no splashing of the base on the dasher when I'm pouring it in, one less mess to clean up! Yey!I highly recommend these bowls to everyone with a stand mixer. You'll love 'em!

theser are gorgrous, I got the pink ones as I have pink in my kitchen They are a light pink just how I wanted them. They are strong and sturdy and the pour spouts are the best too. I love to mix dry ingredients and with the knob they have on them, you can hook it on to the edge of the bowl and pour in easier. I get alot less frustrated with the kitchenaid because of these bowls. They have saved me from throwin the kitchenaid out the door with frustration. I am use to sunbeams which I love and so using a kitchenaid for me has been a nightmare adding ingredient to the bowl. ...Thank you POURfect.

If you have a KitchenAid stand mixer, this is one of the most convient ways to pour flour, eggs, etc. into your mixer.

Great cups but I wish the handles were softer around the edges.

These are wonderful. Mix all your ingredients in the bowl and then pour the mixture in your pan. They are especially great for cupcakes. They also nest very nicely together.

Love these. I use them for everything from scrambled eggs to cakes. Having a bowl with a built in pourer makes cooking easier. They are microwave and dishwasher safe.

A great set and a good size to measure out and mix smaller batches of ingredients.
