Hoof Clay 1.25 kg Sole and Frog Antimicrobial/Antifungal field dressing paste Great for Thrush

My 22 year old donkey was suffering with hoof abcesses. This was bought as a last chance solution. It is AMAZING!! stays on the hoof even when damp, although sticks better when dry. He had deep holes across his soles but after 3 weeks of using this 3times a week the holes are much smaller, some totally healed! Gone is the damp fungal smell his feet used to have. Fresh, healing, much improved. Wear disposable gloves, changing for each hoof for best application i've found. Get it!!

I am delighted with this brilliant product, not only is it very good for my pony by keeping his feet in excellent condition it is also affordable and easy to use. I highly recommend its use. My pony is a lifelong barefoot and has occasionally suffered with thrush due to the deep groves by his frogs and since using this product I've problem has not reoccurred.

Really lovely smell, sticks to the hoof and stays where it’s put. Because it’s a big tub and good value I am a bit more generous when using it. A great product I will definitely buy it again.

A large tub, smells lovely and good value for money. However the clay did not harden despite leaving my horse standing on the yard for over half an hour and turning out on a dry field. I tried it a few times with the same results so bought some Silver Thrush powder instead which cleared his thrush up quickly.

Was not sure what this was supposed to do but bought it on reco of friends. I used it to plug the hole in my pony' s hoof left by an abcess. It goes very hard quite quickly so you don't need anything else on the hoof. ''Field dressing'' makes it sound a bit WW1 but it just protects the hoof from bacteria when they are out in the field.

Good results so far on split heels
