Did a great job on the lawn although the weed killing part could have been better. I used it with a spreader which worked well.Less expensive than the name brand fertilisers.

Elixir's 4 in 1 weed feed and moss killer treatment is working really well on my lawn. All the rain we've had and are still getting, has caused a lot of moss to grow in my lawn. I've treated it once and the moss is visibly dying off as are most of the weeds and the lawn is so much greener.

Working ok price is a bit steep

So it's by far the better product I've used. I spread it on the lawn and the moss just dies and turn black. However, you will need to remove the dead moss manually, weeds wise I haven't seen any extra weed growth, the existing weed is still there though so it hasn't quite done the job, so I guess keep using this and a lawn feed to maintain your lawn once you have gotten rid of the moss/weeds.One think you should consider if you have moss is water log, as moss grows on damp areas, there's a part of our lawn that doesn't quite get as much sun as the other areas so after watering it stays damp for longer. I bought a pair of aerator slip on shoes which has massive spikes, walked around the lawn especially in those areas and boom! the grass grew thicker. If you have bald areas after removing the moss you will need to sow grass seeds to bring it back to life. The process is so slow...

I have a large lawn - well when I say lawn I mean WW1 re-enactment site thanks to the attention of what must be a legion of moles - that needs to be re-invigorated.First off the mole issue has wrecked havoc with my lawn and I'm just getting it back under control and re-levelling it. As such it does need a lot of help and of course sorting out fertilization and weed control is part of it.Now, I'm not aiming to achieve a billiard table effect because frankly that's not how I use my garden. I also seeded my lawn with Kentucky Blue Grass seeds because they are drought resistant and whilst the lawn might look a bit parched after a long period of no rain, a sniff of the wet stuff and it leaps up again.And by adding lawn treatment the process is much improved. Problem is of course that lawn feed and weed is damned expensive at the local garden centre and DIY store. I'm pretty sure that the profit on this stuff is epic.So I buy 'no-name' stuff because the chemicals are the same as far as I can see. This product is just as good as the eye wateringly expensive branded product at a fraction of the price.Spreads easily with my cheap spreader and after a bit of rain I can almost watch the grass grow. Certainly, the colour is much improved and I can look out across a green lawn (with bomb craters thanks to Obergrupenfuhrurer Mole) within a day or so of using this feed and weed and of course a bit of rain.The weeds are dealt with effectively as well. For some reason moles seem to aid in weed growth along with all their other devastating effects - probably because they turn the earth over and expose fresh soil to wind borne seeds. Anyway, my lawn was quite weedy so this was a good test that proved this stuff works well.Overall given the price including delivery this is a very good reasonably priced lawn feed and weed.
