DuraGear Universal Bench Seat Cover (SUV/Van), Medium Slate

Using their measurement guide, I ordered the medium for my 2000 Explorer. I believe I would've been better off with the large. The medium fits but is so tight that it will not pull down all the way on one end and it looks nothing like the photo in as far as how smoothly it looks that it should fit. It is very obvious that it is slightly too small. It's like trying to fit a sheet on a bed that is one size too small. Plus, if you want to add seat belt availability the instructions say to CUT SLITS for them! So, I buy a new product and then have to cut holes in it? Fortunately for me, I will not be cutting slits. I bought this for intermittent use with my daughter's 100LB German Shepherd. I ordered it knowing that I was going to have to have it while I dog sat for a month and then periodically after that. I have not used it yet as the dog just got here on the day of this review. Also, there is a Velcroed slot in the middle of the cover that runs along the crease between the back of the seat and the seat itself; I assume that this is for a middle arm rest. I don't see it pictured in the advertisement. I did not have time to return the item and get a different size or a different one altogether. I like how this fits over the head rests with slits in the fabric instead of a belt to wrap around. Those belts often loosen, and this also drapes down the back of the seat so the cargo area has some protection on the seat back as well. It fits nicely over the seat as well, and has elastic to help it stay in place. It's also reasonably waterproof. The one thing I dislike is that when you take it off to wash it, there are little pinkish bits of the back coating that have rubbed off and are fairly well affixed to the car seat.

Runs very small for standard SUV's I am trying to replace the one I have and it is much lighter fabric and does not seem to be as sturdy and the first one I purched from the pet store. Have had trouble finding the original one I purchased.

Fits well, seems to be very tough material, haven't washed it yet so we'll see about that. Only thing I don't like is that it's very slippery, both my dog and human passengers have complained.

These seat covers are great! It fits a bit too snug on my trailblazer bench seat, so it makes it a pain to put on and take off. Hopefully in time it will stretch?? But it is durable and easy to throw in the wash if it gets dirty.

The cover was a little smaller than advertised, manufacturing slop, but I managed to fit it onto my Toyota Highlander's seat.

This is a great car seat cover. It's easy to install, durable and fits very well. I had one like this too on my previous car. I love it and the dogs seem to do well on it. It's very effective in keeping dirt and liquids off the leather car seat.

These seat covers are great. Good quality fabric and stitching and very easy to put on. The medium size fits a honda crv perfectly but is too small for a ford explorer with 53 inch seats. Hopefully the large cover is a better fit.
