T-shirts and Polo sizing is inconsistent
Good price for Wool shirts, but Size up on Tees, Two sizes up on polos, and do not put in the Dryer! We really like wool t-shirts for travel and summer wear in Georgia where it is currently blazing hot. After having great luck with a more expensive brand (WoolX), my tall skinny husband purchased both L and XL merino-tech tees. The large was way too small and the XL fit pretty well before washing. He washed in the machine and dried on low which resulted in shrinkage. We have not had this issue with WoolX. Since the price point for Merino Tech is really reasonable, he ordered several more (and swore not to dry them) and two polos - all in XL. The tees fit, but the XL polos are too small/fit very slim fit. I cannot imagine they would be wearable after washing. For reference, my almost 11 year old son who is 5'0 and thin like his dad can wear these shirts in a small.

Favorite Merino Wool Vendor
Of the 3 merino wool vendors I have purchased from in the past year, I find Merino Tech products the most satisfying in terms of quality, comfort, weight, and sizing. I loved the first short sleeve lightweight T shirt I tried, so I ordered 2 more plus a long-sleeve T, all consistently well-made. The colors have a nice saturation too. Highly recommended. I am between Medium and Large, but find Large works well for me for this fabric.

So far…
I am currently in search of the “best” shirt and clothing for travel and everyday life. I bought this shirt to test it out in preparation for world travel. The price seems average compared to similar shirts I have researched. I just recently received this one and immediately tried it on.I am 5’10”, 190lbs, muscular build. I purchased the men’s medium. It fits perfectly to my body. It is tight in the chest and arms. For me, giving it a nice form fitted look. I love the length as I find many other shirts tend to be short on my body frame. The texture is soft and smooth. With the quality looking decent upon initial review.I rated this five (5) stars after wearing this shirt on a six week trip hiking in Washington State then traveling to the other side of the world to Turkey. I wore the shirt at one point for three days consecutively with no smell of odor. It didn’t even have a “worn” or even “gross” feel to it after wearing it that long during travel. I was able to wash it easily in hostel bathrooms and it dried fairly quick to be used the very next day.The customer care representative Irene also deserves a shoutout for prompt responsive emails in reference to my purchase and future purchases.

Super comfy
As advertised, this merino wool shirt is super oder resistant even when sweated through it in humid climates. Its soft to the skin and regulated temperature comfortably. Wish there was a XS size. Loved this so much i bought another in different color.

soft, cozy, can wear over and over
Great shirt, soft. I've been wearing it without washing to sleep at night for a couple weeks. No odor. Easy to wash in cold water with a little Woolite.

Great fit, very comfortable and lightweight
Overall these shirts are amazing. I now own 6 in different colors. They are the only shirts I wear to exercise. Why are they so good?Less odor - they do not stink after working out like cotton does. In fact, I now get home from a workout, rinse the shirt in the shower, let it dry, and wear it a couple more times like that before I wash it.Lightweight - wicks sweat and doesn't get heavy. I sweat enough to soak a shirt through when I work out. These make that much more manageable.Stretch - the thin fabric moves with you easily, and doesn't restrict movement.Nice fit - athletic fit looks goodA couple of things to look out for that I have found:1 - shirts stretch slightly over time, so mine are now slightly larger than they were when purchased. If you first try it on and think it's a bit to large, you might want to size down.2 - instructions in the box say you should wash on gentle cycle and lay on a flat surface to dry (no dryer). This is kind of a pain and if you wear them a lot you need a system to do it. I put the first batch I bought in the dryer a few times before I bought more and saw the instructions. They seem fine but I guess it makes them wear out faster?

Fits Well, Comfortable
I purchased this to use as my active base layer for thru hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2024, I have worn it for hikes and find it comfortable, provides warmth, wicks sweat performs as expected. Happy with purchase.

A great value and machine washable
This can be worn in the winter and light summer months. It's light and thin but provides enough insulation at least for me. Quality seems good even after several washes. I would avoid the dryer, but this dries quickly in the Arizona climate. Recommended as a great value.

Great merino wool for a great price
I just went to Manning Park for a hike wearing this merino t-shirt. The Merino-Tech shirt was durable on this 6 hour day hike. I also did several 10 km runs with this shirt. Wool shirts have a great quality where they keep you warm when wet but cool with a breeze. I only wear merino for exercise and for outdoor adventures. I own many Icebreakers and MEC merino wool. This is just as good with after a few washings to get out the itch. Also, the 165 g/m weight of the merino is perfect for me for exercise. It is not too thin to feel like it may tear and not too warm. The fit is athletic - not baggy but not skin tight like Underarmor. When first washed, it was slightly itchy but the itch has gone away with the second wash.I will buy again then the price is right.

Comfortable
Initially, I bought a medium, found it too tight, returned it and ordered a large. It fits well and looks good.

Smaller than expected
Great shirt, but had to give it away as it was too tight even when I was a little smaller.
