The media could not be loaded.  Pros:1) The recorder is well built, very sturdy although it is fully made out of plastic.2) The display is nice and bright and also provides contrast for easy viewing.3) A lot of features are packed into this recorder which make it very efficient at it's job4) The buttons are nice and tactile and allow for a easy navigation through the UI5) It has a built-in speaker and it sounds alright for it's size6) The switches on the side are great and easy to use, good modes are also featured.7) The grill on the top is made of metal and also features an LED to show the mode it is in.8) You also get 4GB of internal storage so an extra micro SD card is never needed, since file sizes for recordings are very small.9) You can easily switch between different recording sizes and these can save space.10) You can record either in 128 kbps or 192kbps which is great!11) A micro USB cable is included and therefore you do not have to own an extra one.12) Very minimal branding, the only thing visible is on the front and back.13) You get an included manual which is very usefulCons:1) The recording quality could be a bit better as sometimes it sound a bit muffled. This all obviously depends on the range at which you are recording.Great to carry around for important meetings or general use!

I've been looking for an inexpensive digital recorder for using in the classroom for a while now. I can't use the recorder on my personal phone so this recorder is perfect for recording and creating a folder of evidence for oral language, music, singing etc. It also comes with a USB lead for charging and connecting to a laptop. I can easily transfer my recordings to my assessments folder on my desktop.The recorder is light weight, plastic and easy to use. I would feel comfortable in giving the recorder to my pupils for recording their interviews with each other and other members of the school community. It is simple to set up and record and save.I've also found the recorder to be excellent for helping me record the minutes of staff meetings.The recorder also comes with built in storage, 4GB with the option of extending via an SD card. 4GB is plenty for me at the moment.The sound quality on playback is very good and I was impressed at how well it picks up my voice. I like that there are two settings. One for my voice only and a class setting for when I want to record voices further away- during a lesson or group activity.

I have just received this recorder and it appears to be exaclty what I wanted. The instruction booklet I found to contain a little too much information but being technically minded I was able to ascertain its functions. There were two recording modes and I chose the higher quality one. My purpose was to listen to commentaries during interviews and these lasted up to 3 hours at a time. With a promise of over 90 hours on this unit this was more than adequate. On a test the quality of sound was excellent even from a distance. The voice data was recorded in an MP3 format and easily converted onto my computer. I can only update when a live recording session is done by me but it is promising.I have now used this recorder. It was onobtrusive and recorded conversations in a normal home environment that lasted 2 hours. Although surreptitious I was able to place this on a table and no one noticed it was recording. The conversations were important and the recorder use purely for accuracy. I would highly recommend it as the sound quality through headphones was excellent. As was the transcribed MP3 recording on my P.C. My only dislike was the replay function which semed to skip to the beginning but the fast forward function being a lot better quckly found the location. It could have been the way I was using it. An excellent recorder nevertheless that fulfilled my requirement. I will need it for other home recordings and am confident it will cope adequately.

Works well with the important stuff - the sound quality and recording options are very good. Feel is of reasonable quality, and it's a good size (Not too small, not too large). Small delay when starting a new recording, but nothing problematic, and if it is a problem you can start a new recording and pause it so that you can start straight away.Deleting things is fiddly though, and I couldn't get the track marks to work at all. Also the 'format device' option doesn't work properly.These things are forgivable for my purposes though, so I'm pretty pleased with it overall.

I bought it for conducting interviews. Two stars for the recording quality. It was able to catch the conversations accurately and clearly. However, it failed to be recognised by PCs. It is very important for me to transfer all the documents from Coredy to my computer. Actually, one of the reasons for this purchase is because it says that this Voice Recorder supports copying files to the computer. Unfortunately, I tried different ways (e.g., connect to another PC; change the port; restart Coredy; restart the computer), but this Recorder was just not shown on my computer and therefore, I was not able to transfer the files. I am going to return this product.

Light and compact voice recorder which seems to work well. Not very robust so will need to be careful as it feels rather flimsy and cheaply made but it was under £30 so cant complain. The display is clear a fairly easy to navigate. There is a slight delay when you press record so you need to press a few seconds in advance of starting recording.Update.... Okay I tried this recorder with the inbuilt mic and the sound quality is poor unless you are close up. With the earpiece recording a call it’s a lot clearer

For such a light, low cost and small piece of kit I'm pleasantly surprised! Tested it against the Troex voice recorder and the Coredy has better highs and lows for audio (bass, drums etc) recordings. Line in recording is clear without distortion. Took me a while to figure out where the headphone playback volume level is (press the - and + buttons during playback... guess that's obvious really).Very happy.
