Works for What I Ordered it for
We ordered this for filtering our the cleaning water for our resin printer. It works great for what we needed it for. It has been easy to clean. I'm sure it would also work well for a coffee maker. I would not say it is priced well at all. I'm sure you could find something just as well suited for much less cost.

Doesn't filter well
Not only does the water go through too fast it let's in coffee dust. I poured slow enough that I got a decent strength but the coffee was bitter. I had a Coffee Gator pour over which has a reusable metal filter but the glass pot broke. I expected this filter to work similarly but it didn't. I don't recommend this filter, at least it'll work for washing quinoa so not a total loss.

This metal filter barely holds onto the water for 2 minutes. Not enough steep time for a pour over
I was excited at the prospect of a re-usable filter, however my excitement was tempered by the steep time. Usually a paper filter can hold onto the water for about 5 minutes ensuring a good steep time and a nice dark cup of coffee. This filter it seems the water falls right through the filter and when timed I was only seeing 2 minutes from pouring water in to it falling through the filter. If the creators figured out how to increase the steep time to a comparable paper filter, then this would be worth buying. However the cup I was getting out of this filter was less than desirable and barely took on a coffee color. Weakest cup of coffee I've ever made. I'm using 30g of coffee and 400g of water.

Good quality
Nice filter that can be used with Chemex slow drip or other coffee making devices. It has a descent drip rate with barely any grounds that pass through. I still prefer the reusable coffee socks but this works great for an easier clean up. I do wish it stated what grade of stainless steel this is for the price point.

Preserve The Natural Oils And Flavors Of The Beans
I've transitioned from using simpler wire mesh filter and paper cones for my freshly ground pour-over coffee, mainly because I grew tired of disposing of filters daily. This metal coffee filter is impressively crafted with high-quality materials, and after some initial setup, it produces a remarkable cup of coffee.I grind my coffee to a medium-coarse consistency, which yields the best flavor profile. The result is a smooth, flavorful brew that captures all the nuances without any hint of bitterness. The slow drip rate allow for proper brewing, ensuring optimal flavor extraction while effectively keeping ground out of the finished brew. One significant advantage of this metal filter is its ability to preserve the natural oils and flavors of the beans that are often absorbed by paper filters. The leads to a more unique and flavorful cup of coffee over time, especially as I fine-tune the brewing process by adjusting variables like grind size and temperature. Clean-up is a breeze for me; I simply rinse the filter with hot water, As long as I stick to a medium-coarse grind, there are no issues with coffee grounds getting stuck. It's worth noting that this filter is best for medium-coarse grounds, which are ideal for pour-over coffee. Utilizing a proper burr grinder and grinding according the the brew method ensures optimal results and an exceptional coffee experience overall.

Doesn't work
The filter isn't fine enough so it lets all the water through immediately before the coffee has a chance to steep. You end up with basically coffee-flavored water. Don't buy it.

Fantastic Filter
I have had metal filters before but it would make the coffee taste different and after a while it would begin to rust. This is of great quality, durable and easy to clean. The flavor of the coffee has been very consistent. I love the fact that I don't have to run out the store to buy more filters. 10/10
