Good Value, But Could Be A Lot Better
This is a fairly good way to acquire a good section of the pod racer pilots, or at least 5 of the 18 from the Boonta Eve Classic featured in The Phantom Menace. The characters are technically repacks of their original releases, but I would have hoped that Hasbro would have fixed some of the issues associated with them. For example:Mars Guo:The holes in the feet are quite small, so it takes quite a bit of time and force to get this character to actually stay on the base. Additionally, the hands are poorly shaped to actually hold the corresponding blaster. Minimal articulation. Goggles are difficult to remove.Gasgano:This could have been such a great character model, but alas, the lower arms are designed in such a way that when the upper arms are moved, they hit the too-tall upper portion of the lower arms and pop right off of their sockets. Quite the traumatic injury, to say the least. Surgery is fairly easy though-- they just stick right back on, if you get them at the right angle. The only pose where they've really stayed on is with the lower arms "slack" at the sides, and the upper arms held up and together, as if in a high applause pose. The main problem in this issue is two fold: the placement and thickness of the bottom arms interfering with the motion of the upper arms, and the ball joints in the shoulders being too loose to begin with. If they had been built more sturdily, like the B'Omarr Monk ball joints (in the figure's legs in this case), they would have at least been able to remain attached when contacting the bottom arms. Additionally, the goggles do not remove.Dud Bolt:The corresponding blaster is a nightmare to get to stay properly, or, for that matter, to get the retention strap to even stay in the right place. That aside, his wrists are at least articulated. His nose spike could have been made a lot more flexible in order to allow for easier removal of the helmet. If you're super careful, you can get it off without damaging the character, but still.Clegg Holdfast:Oddly enough, this is the most articulate figure in the entire set, with both elbow and knee flex points. The goggles are difficult to place on properly, and take quite a bit of fighting to make them stay. That being said, once they're on, good luck getting them off.Teemto Pagalies:Has pupils looking outward in different directions, leading to a less than desired facial expression. This is further enhanced by the fact that the goggles barely stay on and shift around quite easily, often winding up turned around backwards, This character also possesses minimal articulation, although his tail does twist around to point either up or down.As a whole:There is only one die between the all of them, which is somewhat disappointing. Additionally, very few of the characters can actually hold the included flags, as they are simply re-issues of the previous character models, which were not created with the flags being taken into consideration. If you're careful, you can get the flags to stay in the slots in the base, but the flag poles are quite easy to bend, and if you stick the pole in enough to make it stand of its own accord, it can often interfere with inserting the battle card all the way into the base. The paint was nice on all of them.As a side note, the flags are sturdy flex plastic, with stiff plastic poles. They are also exclusive to this particular multi-pack.Not bad, but could have been a lot better.

This product is not bad. Have a good price
This product is not bad. Have a good price. But some figures is not good like Gasgano's arms. This figures comes with good accesories. Figure cards, flags, die and figure accesories.

great if you missed them the first time around
This set is great for those of us who missed the podracer pilot figures the first time around. However, be aware that all of these figures are repacks. They've been repainted a bit, but they are generally older figures, meaning that they have limited articulation. Still, this is probably the only way Hasbro will ever release these characters, so it's worth grabbing this set if you're a podracer fan.
