Love this affordable portable toy! Helping my kiddies talk!
This talking flashcards card is genius! I am an occupational therapist and have been using it to help my kids address speech, cognition and fine motor skills. It is so easy for me to transport from kid to kid, the sound quality is very good for the price, and it holds a charge for a while so I don’t have to plug it in often since I’m always on the go. One of the parents let me know their daughter is already starting to talk using the flashcards every day. The pictures and variety of items on the cards are very good quality as well, i highly recommend this product to others!

Works just as described.
I bought this for a 2 year old granddaughter who loves to practice her talking. She's good at manipulating small objects so is adept at placing the cards in the machine, which then reads the word. She enjoys it for about 10 minutes at a time.I sorted through the cards first, pulling out words that she's not familiar with or words that have different meaning in British English. She plays with about 15 words at a time, and I add a few each session. My hope is that she'll"accidentally" learn to recognize the word as well as the picture. It's a nice activity, small enough for the car or a restaurant and well worth the reasonable price.

Good for toddler
Great learning toy for toddler. It helps increase vocabulary. Size is perfect for little hands. Decent colored pictures. Not so bright. Few cards are read incorrect which can create confusion. Eg. Carrot is read as lettuce.

Good for speech development
This is a helpful tool for my 4 year old daughter who has Cerebral Palsy. She is not speaking full words yet aside from "mama" and "baba." Her speech therapist also agreed that this is a very good toy to help with language development on a simple level. I know that it would be very beneficial for typically developing infants/toddlers that are showing signs of verbally communicating. The best part of the device is that once charged, it says the name of the card for you. That makes it more fun, and less work for the parent. A very useful speech development device.

Simple and Educational, one major flaw
Pros: This was purchased for a preschooler who needs extra help learning their letters and numbers. I love the amount of cards, and the simplicity of the card reader.Minor Con: The cards are almost too flimsy. My kiddos can be rough with their toys, and it only took 3 minutes before 2 of the cards were bent up.Major Con: The letters on the cards that show in the window are colorful bubble letters. Not ideal for a kiddo learning letters, some of the letters ("D" in particular) you can't even tell what the letter is supposed to be. I will be making some stickers to put on the cards for better letters.

Great way to learn for Toddler!
I bought this for my grandbaby to help her with her learning. The talking flash cards alpha pocket came with many cards including different animals, colors, shapes, etc. My grandbaby really enjoys it when it reads what's on the card for her to follow. You can also adjust the volume. It's a perfect size for her to carry it around especially in a long car ride. I recommend this product for toddlers.
