Rubie's Men's Star Wars Episode Vii: the Force Awakens Deluxe Kylo Ren Costume

For Halloween this year, my family chose Star Wars. My daughter was Phasma, my son a Stormtrooper, my wife Rei... but I wanted to go a little more old-school, and ordered a classic Imperial Officer uniform of eBay. Even though I placed that order in early September, it hasn't arrived. So I had to find a backup option - and quick!I ordered this costume four days before our Trick-Or-Treating night (we do it on the 30th in my town). Of course it arrived in two days (Prime Shipping), but I was pleasantly surprised with its quality. The belt is quite nice - faux leather, nice and wide, and with a Velcro closure. It very comfortably held a toy Ren lightsaber (my kids already had one - not included with this package) against my hip while we were walking around. There are two separate fabric pieces to this costume. One is the full-length robe and sleeves, and a second is the hood/half cape. I'm 6'2, 215lbs, and this fit me very well (including the thumb loops on the sleeves). I wore this costume over an old pair of black combat boots, black track pants, and a black turtleneck shirt, and it looked great. Part of me regrets not springing for a better mask (this one only covers your face and forehead), but all the kids in the neighborhood loved it.Another great thing about this costume? I can reuse it! Wear a basic skull mask instead of the Kylo Ren faceplate, carry a sickle - instant Grim Reaper. Or get a scraggly grey beard and long wig, and some kind of staff - instant Evil Wizard. Not bad for a last-minute emergency purchase!

Am giving this product 4 stars purely because the mask is a flimsy piece of plastic and is not very good. I ended up not even wearing it.That said, the outfit itself is great. Wore it to an event and received many compliments. Wore it all day in the summer and wasn't too hot. Would recommend.

Fits decently enough and higher quality then I anticipated! I'm a smaller guy, 5'8", 150lbs., and this is only slightly baggy. With some simple safety pins here and there I can tighten it up. If you are a crafty person, you could easily use this as a jumping off point for an amazing costume. If you're really crafty and all DIY, then, well go away and sell your stuff on Etsy. Why are you trolling here?The mask is fine and works with the costume. Has that classic plastic mask smell! I opted to buy a fancier one with a voice module.I have been building this costume up over the last year, buying the helmut and lightsaber, boots, etc. For not being a crafty person at all I must say I'm pleased with my off-the-shelf purchases that put it all together. This specific piece is just what I needed.

I was worried about purchasing this product because Halloween costume online purchases seem to fail often. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this costume of Kylo Ren looked really good. The material is, of course, cheap but not so much that it made the costume look too fake. The biggest complaint I would have is that the hood was small. However, the hood still fit over my helmet. Overall, I recommended this product for the price. I can't see the higher end costumes being much different.

For the prince the amount of material you get is good but the detail on that material is pretty bad. The belt is made of rubber which sounds nice but looks bad and the shirt is probably the worst part since its printed. However! the hood and overall shawl are very nice.

Good quality costume for the price. Fit very well and was a hit with the kids on trick or treat night!

This Kylo Ren costume looked awesome on my husband at a recent Halloween Rave we went too! It is thin material (which is to be expected because of the cheap price), however it actually worked out better because he wasn't overheated in it. Legit looked like Kyle Ren/evil af.

Great overall costume. I wish the hood was a little bigger to support my black series helmet. I am happy with it though

The costume is high quality and although it is a bit big on my daughter, it looks great.

The clothes fit awesomely me and the mask s cheap. I recommend buying a separate mask if ya u want a better look

Mask is just thin plastic...bought an authentic mask on the side, but the costume was exactly what I ordered and loved it!

I combined the costume with a better looking helmet. People were impressed with it on Halloween
