Alcohol free tincture
I wanted to try a Reishi mushroom product and am very happy with this Canadian made alcohol free tincture. It comes in a glass bottle with dropper, so it is easy to measure the dose. It doesn't have a strong taste, especially when mixed in a beverage. I have been taking the tincture for two weeks and am pleased with it.

Get the benefits of reishi mushrooms in a few drops
The benefits of mushrooms seems to be becoming more and more popular lately. Using a tincture like this is a great way to get the benefits of mushrooms, such as improving the immune system, hormonal balance and stress response. They're easy to take; just a few drops under the tongue or in a small amount of water or other drink. However, tinctures are not known for tasting good. They're usually very UNpleasant. But I find putting the drops under the tongue prevents the taste from being too unpleasant. It also allows it to go straight into the bloodstream. I started off with a lower dose than recommended to be sure I didn't have any reaction to it. And gradually increased to the full recommended dose. This is also made by a small Canadian company which I'm happy to support.

Great source of Reishi, doesn't last very long though
I much prefer this reishi in tincture form to taking reishi capsules every morning along with all my other vitamins and supplements. Easier on the stomach, and you get the beneficial effects of it much sooner than you do taking reishi in a capsule form. I add it to my coffee every other morning, along with the Chaga and Lion's Mane tinctures I have from Forage Hyperfoods as well. Honestly, you can't go wrong with this brand/company. This extract barely has any taste whatsoever, but I probably wouldn't add it to juice. It's good in tea, smoothies, and even a glass of milk, though I haven't tried it with a glass of water yet. But the taste isn't at all unpleasant, and it's so mild and barely noticeable that I can't see why you couldn't add it to a glass of water. The only downside is it's a 60mL bottle, and each "dose" is 4mL (4 full droppers), so you only get a two week supply out of it. To extend how long the bottle lasts, I use it every other day, or only use 2 drops a day. 4 full drops will get you the strongest, quickest-acting effects, but 2 drops is fine, too--even 1 drop a day--if you're looking for more long term use. If you're wanting a stronger, more immediate effect (say, if you're looking to boost your immune system (nearly) right away during a bout of illness, or improve your stress levels/response during a particularly stressful week or whatnot), go for the 4 full drops a day. Also, I have the alcohol-free formula so it's not at all unpleasant to consume (since every other herbal tincture I've used--from other brands, mind you--that have alcohol in them have all been totally digusting and entirely untolerable). Overall though, I'd definitely recommend this Reishi Tincture, or any of the tinctures from Forage Hyperfoods--they're all fantastic.

Smells too strong
I wish I was brave enough to try it but my friend who makes tinctures smelled it and said NOPE !!!! And warned me to ingest that because it really smells like ethanol still. Must be the way it is made.

New to this
I just started to use this product, so I can’t really give much of a revue but the more research I do the more I’m inclined to go natural with supplements and medication. I have heard and read about mushrooms and the benefits they have so I’m going to give them a try .
