First, you have to accept that you’re trying to fall asleep on an airplane. This isn’t a miracle worker, it’s not going to suddenly make it as comfortable as your bed.But I think this is probably pretty close to as comfortable as you could get. I combined it with an inflatable neck pillow — not sure the neck pillow added all that much tbh, but it’s small and easy to pack and it’s nice to also have something squishy for when you want to try a different position to see if it’s more comfortable than this thing (hint: it’s not).I was impressed. It wasn’t better than I expected because I had read some pretty glowing reviews and my hopes were a little too high, but it’s a good invention.

Hands down best travel pillow I have used. My wife travel internationally every other year. I took this on our 15 hour flight to Vietnam and I got great sleep. I strapped the pillow to the head rest and was able to sleep reclined or sitting straight up and I didn’t have to worry about kinking my neck. I could even turn and sleep to change pressure on my rear end when it was getting sore from sitting in one spot for a long time. I had bought this and the turtle travel pillow, and this by far was best.

Tested this on two 13+ hour flights. You do look a little odd with this on, but honestly considering you are strapping yourself to the seat, it’s a lot better than I expected.Will this turn any flight into an opportunity for beauty sleep? No. Both flights were in economy, and while I woke up having comfortably taken a nap (more than I can say for any other flight I’ve been on outside of one I booked on points in lie-flat business), You are being essentially held upright in place. That’s not how I sleep. It may be how you sleep, so your results may vary.This does compact nicely, so I was able to store it in my carry on travel backpack even when paring it down. Do you look a little goofy setting this up? Yes. But if you’re at the point of reading reviews for this, you’re probably willing to take some glances in exchange for shut eye.My only concern is the Velcro on the eye mask. It is SUPER aggressive. I worry that it’ll get weaker over time, and because that’s the only part keeping you in your head harness, you probably don’t want that to happen. Travel warriors, keep this in mind.How does it work? You will want to make sure you have enough room to tinker with the entire top of your headrest, but it’s pretty quick to set up.You have to:(1) tuck either side of the back of the foam band to the wings of the seat headrest(2) Pull the straps to secure so your head will stay in place(3) Attach the (aggressive) Velcro eye mask to either side of the memory foam band so your head will be comfy(4) Slide into the band ring / eye mask contraption, Repeat and adjust steps 2-3 until you’ve set yourself up for a nice rest

This thing is so crazy looking but I loved it! My friend called it face prison as I tucked myself into sleep on our long overnight flight from the west coast to paris. I slept so well. It kept the light out, it kept my head from falling all over the place. My neck felt fine after the sleep, no stiff neck, no head bobbing all over. i had the best sleep on an over night flight that I've ever had. It folds up to about 1 1/2 times the width of a soda can and it's light weight, not bluky. I will never go back to a neck pillow.

I love this pillow and all you need just ignore everybody else and do the set up. While you’re sleeping you just have to trust the product and lean your head forward to let the eye mask hold your head. I had better sleep compared to any other kind of pillow. Now the only problem with this product is some Delta planes doesn’t have the head rest so there’s no way you can put this up. I start hate Delta from now.

I am in my forties, I don't travel via airplane very often, maybe 2-4 times a year. But I have a huge problem that I cannot sleep on airplanes. I cannot nap on airplanes. I have tried everything. I recently bought this item because I was going to be on a red eye flight where I really REALLY needed to sleep. It was pretty amazing. It holds your head up in a way that your neck and shoulders and body can truly relax. You can put yourself into it before takeoff, during ascent, during landing. No rules about strapping your head to the headrest LOL. It doesn't look too weird. I was travelling with my hubby who uses a neck pillow and sleeps but looks super uncomfortable and my teenager who was slumped over the tray table. Poor them. This product isn't 100 percent perfect but it will do the job. If not sleep then it will at least relax you beyond any normal air travel positions. And if you are exhausted, sleepy or take a sleep aid, you will definitely get at least a few hours of actual sleep. I might now buy this for my hubby and teen :D

The seal was open and placed again the storage bag is missing. Just got it 4 hours prior my flight I was supposed to get it 2 days before so I guess I will keep it without the storage bag. The box explains very clear that are 3 parts. However I'm paying for not a 100% complete product.

Took these on my 12 hour flight to Italy and I want to say for me it did work four about 3 hours then i really felt like I needed a pillow around my neck so it didn’t work for me specifically the entire flight but for my husband, he slept the whole entire flight so I guess it’s a personal choice but for me no for my husband yes.
