Perfect, easy, very happy.

My previous CO detector was a sealed unit with no way to change the batteries.This one is a much better design. The only thing I would have liked is a magnetic base to attach it to the top of the boiler case, but it's perfectly fine placed on top of the kitchen wall units.It does flash every minute or so, which made me jump one dark night, but it's no concern.

Good price & nice looking, easy to fit

Firstly the instructions are in about font size 2 so I needed a magnifying glass. Secondly the instructions do not mention batteries although the box says there are no batteries included. Thirdly I cpould not see any way to open the unit to unstall the batteries (2 or 3 - both mentioned on web page) . Fourthly Amazon was unable to help as the unit did not have a swicth that the agent said it had and he was useless. I had to repeat myself about four times to tell him the information. If you have agents on the phone PLEASE ensure they know what they are doing and can be understood.

Seems to do the job but hasn’t gone off yet so let’s hope it is working. Great for peace of mind…assuming it works…sure it does!
