I like how this busy board book contains fun little gadgets and learning tools for babies, toddlers, and even young kids. For example, there are zippers and buckles for babies and toddlers to play with. There are also an analog clock for pre-K kids to learn to read. I think the best part of all these is that the pages are removable! When going on a flight, you can hide some of the pages first and just take them out one by one so your little ones won't get bored quickly.

I got this busy book in hopes of keeping my toddler occupied during long car rides and at restaurants and I think it will work perfectly. It's a bit bulky for carrying in a diaper bag but it buckles closed and has a carrying case so it can be carried separately.The variety between the pages holds attention for a long time, and I think that 3-4 is a good age for it given that it has small pieces to maneuver into tight pockets and some elements like clocks and shoelace-tying are a bit more advanced.I'm deducting a star because the buckles to open the book itself are really hard to undo, which immediately frustrated my 3-year-old, so hopefully they loosen with time but even I struggled a bit with them. Also, many of the pieces had to be cut out for the first use because the perforation left too large of a part attached than what could be pulled out manually (see photo), so luckily I opened this up to take the pieces out before we were in the car since we would not have been able to use it without scissors to get it set up.

I recently purchased the Toddler Busy Board Montessori Toys for my little one, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The quality of the materials is excellent, and the variety of activities on the board keeps my child engaged and entertained for long periods. I appreciate that it's not only fun but also educational, helping my toddler develop fine motor skills and learn about colors, shapes, and numbers. The size is perfect for little hands, and it's easy to take with us on the go. The media could not be loaded. This should provide hours of fun for the young guys and girls...and education at the same time.I won't run through everything a child can get out of this as it's all listed on the item page, but learning about skills like tying shoelaces and using clasps to being able to read a clock or a calendar are among them. That's a big bonus for what's basically a toy.Most everything about this is relatively soft and the 8 pages come in a carrying case that closes tightly and has a handle for carrying. It also has a zippered area where a child can place personal items like crayons, pencils, etc.This is intended for my 2.5 year old grandson. It will be good for him now and probably for the next couple of years, at least, as some things are more difficult than others and he will grow into it.Highly recommended. Hope this helps.

I bought this for my grandson for any trips in the car. He loves it and it's perfect to keep in my car for all travel.

I recently ordered Busy Board Montessori Toys for 1, 2, 3, and 4 Years, Sensory Board Educational Activities for Learning Fine Motor Skills, Preschool Busy Book for Toddlers, Travel Toys for Plane Car, and Gift for Boys and Girls. My grandson already has one of these busy boards, and he loves it, so I decided to order another to give him for his birthday.I received it very quickly, and it was packaged well. The pieces come still attached to the felt that it was cut from, and you will have to remove them. I first tried pulling them apart, but the felt was quite thick, so it required some tiny scissors to cut them free. I am only mentioning this because it took like 15 minutes to cut all the pieces free. Good thing it's a one-and-done kind of thing!I love the vibrant colors of each piece. There are lots of fun activities for young children to play and learn with. The only activity I am not very sure about is the free matching one. There are dinosaurs and bushes you can put them behind, but that is it. I am sure a toddler can figure it out way better than me.All the pieces and velcro seem to be of great quality. The letters kept slipping off the page, but when I pressed down better, they stayed put. I think this might be harder for a toddler to do, but time will tell. The clips holding this book together are pretty tight and may need some assistance. I love that it has backpack straps. It makes it a book for on the road and to keep busy at a restaurant.I am thrilled with this, and it's a great deal for $20.

This is a great little busy book! It has lots of great activities and bright colors, there is so much to do and learn here! There are some pieces that are detachable and/or loose already, so beware, it can be difficult to keep all the pieces together with smaller children.Compared to the other busy books we have, this one seems to have a lot of pages and activities and may be more appropriate for a slightly older toddler or preschooler, depending on development.The gbabies love that they can carry it around and there's so much to see and do that it will take a while for them to accomplish all the tasks or become bored with this book. It would make a great gift, probably best suited for kids 2-5 or so.
