My 11 year old son loved building this car. It took him a while, and he needed an adults help every so often, but did the vat majority by himself. It looks great, and feels pretty sturdy.

I love the whole kit even though mine had a piece missing but what I dislikeed is the fact that it's made MDF and not plywood or wood as used by other manufacturers such as Rolife and wooden.city etc a poor choice of construction material in my opinion and spoils the overall product.

I have never written a review on Amazon before in the many years I have been a client. I love unidragon puzzles and thought this would be a great activity to do with my nephews. I bought 3 of them. These puzzles are finicky and break easily. The little notches are hard to place and with the pieces being under slight pressure getting one piece in another piece pops out and/or breaks. I was so disappointed in the product and after trying to build one disastrous car, I will be returning the other three.

I really enjoyed putting this together. It comes ready to assemble with clear, straightforward directions. Takes a couple hours to put together and the finished product is very cool and looks great!It can be a little challenging getting a few of the pieces to sit properly but it didn’t discourage or disappoint me at all.

Next level wood craft kit with some incredible detail. I picked this up for my 6 year old, but my husband couldn't help himself and jumped right in to build it with my child and I. The instructions and pieces certainly look intimidating so take your time with this and enjoy building your new car layer by layer. The doors, hood and hatchback all open which added so much more effect along the build. Great rainy day at home activity that the whole family or even a single person/older kid would enjoy. The pieces do require precise connects with some requiring a bit of strength. I struggled with the tool separator at first, but got the hang of it. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable building activity. This is my 2nd time building a Unidragon product and it will not disappoint. Happy Building!!

My son has been working on this off and on since Christmas. At first, he was really excited but it seems like it might have been too difficult.I will probably have to help him finish it. He is 8 years old.Overall, it looks pretty cool, though it is more of a model than a puzzle. Kind of like a wooden lego set (in the sense that you follow the instructions to build the car).

I have done two other wooden models before but the Unidragon Comet GTS is my first race car. The model is definitely a VERY cool looking build but there are a few spots that could use some improvement.The set comes in a very nice wooden box that snaps together just like the model. Inside are the six sheets containing all the parts. Unfortunately, as you unpack the sheets a bunch of the parts come out by themselves. Not a big deal, but you are going to want to make sure you keep track of them. One thing that I love is that they include an actual tool that helps to pop the pieces out of the forms. Makes getting smaller pieces out without breakage very easy.The instructions are easy to follow and fold over nicely so that they can be kept small. The parts that you need and the sheets that they are found on are highlighted so you know where to look. There are, however, a few spots where the parts you need are not highlighted. Thankfully they are easy to find.Assembly requires some patience as you need to apply pressure, but don't want to apply too much or parts can snap. The front grill of the car is one such place and requires that you push in an awkward way so as not to snap the top piece off. I didn't have any issues with the exception of the front grill and the hood. The hood is a difficult section that required a few spots super glued in order to get them to stay in place. The majority of the assembly is very easy and went smoothly.The end result is a fantastic looking model that is going to have a permanent place on my display shelf. The colors pop, the details are awesome (the door handles actually slide forward and back to lock the doors closed!) and there is definitely a sense of achievement when you complete it. It is a bit pricey (on sale for $40 at the time of this review) compared to my other wooden models, but it is the best looking of the three so I am not that bothered by the price. If you enjoy challenging models, this is definitely a must have. The age range states 14+ and I think that is a very accurate starting age.
