Beyond pleased with the results
As a 50+ year old female, suffering from thinning hair due to horomonal changes, I can definitely say this laser cap has exceeded my expectations. I became increasingly frustrated and distressed as I noticed more and more hair in my shower drain, on my bathroom floor, bed, car, clothing, hairbrush, etc... Substantial thinning at my temples and a wider gap where I typically part my hair.In addition to using the laser cap I've been taking supplements with biotin and applying a hair regrowth serum.I noticed a reduction in hair fallout just after 2 weeks of using the laser cap and my results have significantly improved within only 3 mos of use. Now, I barely have any shedding, similar to my younger years, and no longer fret when I brush or wash my hair. These results have brought back my self confidence and I no longer look for a hat before leaving the house.I would give this product 5 stars for its effectiveness, convenience (with its rechargeable battery pack I can walk around the house while using the cap), Its sturdiness and durability, portability (its size and weight makes it easy to pack and travel with) and its good price point. However, I only gave it 4 stars for one reason. Here's why: I am petite in stature so the cap tends to wiggle and sometimes fall down as I move about my house while tending to chores and what not. I would not let this particular reason dissuade me from ever purchasing this product. This is certainly something I am willing to overlook due to all of the benefits it offers. Now, if they could make the laser cap with an adjustable band, similar to that of a bike helmet, I wouldn't have to worry about it falling off of my head and possibly getting damaged. This product is less bulky and lighter in weight compared to iRestore, which is something to consider if you travel a lot.... as I do. Also, this cap tends to give more coverage, targeting my temples and front hairline (where I mostly need it) vs the original iRestore.I highly recommend this product to anyone suffering from thinning hair.

I wouldn't recommend...
Have been using this for over 4 months, never missing a day (every other day, 30 minute sessions). Have to say, there is no noticeable difference... MAYBE a bit of peach fuzz in my temporal areas, but nothing that would ever be noticeable to others, in fact, it's very much like when I used Rogaine. I will continue using and will update this review if anything changes. It's easy to use. Pop it on your head, hit a button and let it do its thing. I wouldn't suggest using the baseball cap with this. The baseball cap is incredibly stupid, as is the idea that anyone would wear the cap while running errands out and about. The baseball does not hide the unit at all. The unit itself is a very hard plastic, so the baseball cap can not fit snugly to your head, over the unit, so it looks like you're trying to smuggle something under your baseball cap. In addition, if you tried to wear this out and about, you would look like a nutcase, because the flashing red light is very obvious around the edge of the cap, as it's being used. My advice... ditch the baseball cap. The unit sits on your head much more easily without it. It is easy to walk around your house while using it. I just pop the battery pack in either my shirt pocket or pants pocket. The cap sits snugly on my head and has a rubberized edge, so I never feel like it's going to go anywhere... again, I do this without the baseball cap.I have experienced no tingling, etc, while using this. The only thing you feel is VERY slight warmth... VERY slight... Nothing that could be considered even slightly uncomfortable. The problem with purchasing this product is that, if it doesn't work for you, you have no recourse. You can not return it, because you must use it for at least 3 months before you can see if it will work for you or not... By that time, your return window through Amazon has expired, so basically, you're just out of luck and in my case, well over five hundred bucks, so basically, it's a gamble. I don't want to say it doesn't work, because maybe it will for you. I'm just saying I've not seen results, personally, that have warranted a good review,In addition to using this cap, I have also been taking Finasteride (Propecia) for about 10 years, which I do believe very much slows the rate at which one loses hair. My dermatologist gave me a VERY valuable tip (quite literally) years ago... DO NOT have your doctor prescribe Propecia. Have your doctor prescribe Finasteride instead. Finsateride is the active ingredient in Propecia. One dose of Finasteride (small pill) is equivalent to four doses of Propecia, so all you do is cut the Finasteride pill into quarters and take one quarter each day. 30 Finasteride pills cost me about 4 dollars and because they're being cut into quarters, will last 4 months, so I'm basically paying ONE DOLLAR per month vs. well over $150 per month for Propecia. Out of everything I've tried, Finasteride is the one thing I will always recommend to friends.Hope this helps!

Electronics great, Cap Shape Not so great
The electronics design appears to be excellent. Customer Service and warrantee also seems excellent. It would be helpful if the manufacturer included information on the timeline for hair regrowth to help the consumer determine whether the cap is actually working. After just 2 months of usage per instructions, lots of tiny white hairs are growing in the bare areas of my scalp; I normally have grey hair. This is the only treatment I am currently using. So I do believe the cap is effective at treating my male pattern baldness. My only complaint is that the shape of the cap is, in my opinion, very poorly designed. I did provide very specific and detailed feedback to the company about this; their response was polite, but unreceptive. I understand that people of different ethnicities tend to have different shaped heads. Also, there is variation in head size and shape between different size men and women. So a universal cap that would fit everyone perfectly could be a challenge to build. If the manufacturer is not going to alter the shape of the cap, I recommend a stretch cloth bonnet that encapsulates the entire electronic cap with an adjustable tie under the chin to make the cap sit securely on the head. The headband and baseball style over-cap which come in the box with the laser cap do not work to hold the cap stable, even while sitting motionless. I have studied the illustration which demonstrates how to use the headband. But it does not fit securely on my head, and tends to roll under the cap. Trying to keep the cap on involves a fair amount of time and frustration. However, in terms of growing hair, it appears to work.
