Half the price of the name brand
Does what it is supposed to do and for much cheaper than a stihl brand chain. So many reviews are negative because people just bought the chain thinking that any 16 inch chain for a stihl will fit. Please be informed on your saw before you buy. Stihl has I believe 3 if not four again pitches available. If yours is not a .325 pitch then this will not fit. Check Oregons's website for an application chart. Good chain and a good value.

Compariable to my Stihl Chains
I have always used Stihl chains but these are a few dollars cheaper so I figured I'd give one a shot. It really is a great chain. I have had no issues whatsoever and I heat with wood so believe me when I say that it has been used alot. This is going to be my new go-to chain to save myself a few bucks!

Fabulous Chain for 029 Farm Boss
This inexpensive chain is a real winner. I've ordered several more because it just keeps going and going--at less than half the cost of a Stihl chain. I've worked with it close to the ground, where it hits the dirt frequently as I grub out tree stumps--and it just keeps going without seeming to lose much of its sharpness. After three tanks of gas working close to the ground it's only now beginning to get a bit dull.I love this chain.

Good chain for price.
I was quite surprised how long this chain has lasted. Thinning trees and have cut down and cut up around 25 trees. Averaging 5" to 15" in diameter. Some long time dead, some alive and mostly various species of pine and spruce. Chain is still reasonably sharp and cuts well. Don't know how it would hold up with hardwoods.

Good quality chain, I put it to the test
This chain held up well for me. I have an ms290, and I've always purchased an oem chain. I thought I'd try this at a more reasonable price point, and it held up just as well. I cut a mix of red oak and ash, some maple. Much of the red oak had fallen years ago and was hard as a rock, some of it near the ground so even hitting the dirt a few times, it held up well.

Quality Oregon chain
I have been using Oregon chains for many years on several chain saws. They are long lasting and can be sharpened many times before having to be replaced. Fast shipping and good price.

Best Chain I have Ever Used
My old chains had lived their lives, no longer enough left for sharpening. I ordered these. Wow! From cutting large diameter to clearing brush, this chain does it all effortlessly. I ordered two, one still in its box because the first one is still on my saw and cutting beautifully after 16 hours of clearing downed trees. I am honestly amazed. My saw is a FarmBoss, the chain fits perfectly and as I said, wears wonderfully. I will be ordering more!! Excellent seller as well, they were shipped immediately!

Steel for a Stihl
I go through about eight cords of oak and other hardwood a year with my Stihl MS290. I find Oregon chains last as long as the saw manufacturer's on brand, and far longer than other chains. I use a bench sharpener after about every four hours of cutting, more often if the wood is frozen or extra dirty (or I hit a rock), and the Oregon chains last a full season with enough material left to serve as backup. I've used Oregon chains for years and they are my first choice.

Not for Stihl 026
Not for stihl 026. I made sur that my saw had.325 inch pitch cutting attachments but did not realized that the groove on my bar was 1.3 mm and that chain is for 1.6mm. I am very disappointed that oregon does not make a chain for a stihl 026 and I'm stock with a useless new oregon chain.

Does not fit
Although it is suppose to fit a Stihl chainsaw, it does not fit on the bar of a Stihl. Way too wide and I can't even get it on. Now I will have to get a Oregon bar that fits a Stihl chainsaw or just buy a Stihl chain (which I did). I took a gamble and lost.
