So this smokeless pit it really neat. It’s my first so I not sure how the name brand performs. Using Pellets I did go through a small treager oil catch bucket of pellets rather quickly roughly about 30 minutes. While adding more pellets the fire does go out. But putting a lighter to the top will relight the pit. The unit is extremely hot and it’s best to let cool off before moving it. The FLAME DOES GO ABOUT TWO-THREE Feet high so be careful. I bought for when I go down to the coast, unfortunately I feel the wind will be too much. It will work for when the kiddos want s’mores.

This is the test fire pit. Using on my lanai on these cool winter days, perfect size! Wish instructions were a little lacking which is why only 4 stars. but the fire pit seems to be doing just fine. Sat it on a few bricks for safety.

Wanted it to be a little bigger, but at this price it is a good deal. Tried it out and flames spiral higher than my other smaller camp stoves.. i like it !

I have two of these. I use the 5 Inch Universal Cooking Firewood in one Uzant Tabletop Fire Pit to cook fine food. I do not use any petrol or fossil fuels to light it so the cooking begins as soon as the fire starts. As soon as the food is cooked, I extinguish the fire by starving it with a collar that slides onto the firepit to cut off the air feed and a plate that sits on top.Most of the time I start the kindling, which I shaved or cracked from a 5" stick, then soak in saltwater, with a homemade 5v arc lighter that has a 2" spread. Don't try this without wrapping the Uzant Tabletop Fire Pit with aluminum foil. Use a substantial grilling grate at least 5 inches above the fire pit and always, always us a fireproof mat under the grill.I also forage for firepit wood for heat and ambience, which I burn in the other Uzant Tabletop Fire Pit. I chose the Uzant Tabletop Fire Pits over the many other manufacturers because of the ashtray, and the design of the legs. Sometimes I will drop in an alcohol burn chamber and enjoy the fire pit indoors.

This thing can not be burnt inside the house. It smoked like crazy and put off black suet. My house smelled for days.
