User-friendly guide for reducing anxiety!
I really love this book by Anna Ferguson. I thought I knew a lot about the vagus nerve, but she took me deeper and provided practical tools and exercises to really help me understand how to work with my vagus nerve. The book is very accessible to all levels of reader. It was nice to deepen my understanding of the vagus nerve without having to wade through a lot of medical and psychological jargon. The book is extremely well researched and Anna definitely knows her stuff. I have followed her on Instagram for quite a while and used many of the techniques she has shared on there. So glad to have a book I can refer to when I need to! Looking forward to much more from Anna Ferguson!

Vagus interesting
In starting this book it was good for the Author to share her past and what she went through to then lead to a vagus nerve reset. The early chapters delve into people that experienced trauma needing to reset the vagus nerve. Then throughout the book she talks about PTSD, childhood trauma and other traumas once experienced needing this reset to help their body move forward. There was quite a lot of scientific speak that at times slowed me down. I wanted to read this book because due to a health issue, I have had a few practioners mention that it might be helpful, but it wasn't caused by trauma so I found myself thinking this book might not be for me. Toward the end of the book there are lots of helpful and lifestyle changes to help your body feel better to support your nervous system and vagus nerve on a daily basis. I will for sure try some of these.This is a great intro to the Vagus Nerve and you'll find many suggestions to help if needed.Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for this ARC copy.

This book is amazing! It’s a digestible read for not just therapists, but clients as well. So much great info for how to understand and work with your nervous system!! Loved it!

Amazing read!
This book was a true Godsend! I definitely struggle with anxiety and needed a reset and this book provided that for me. I love the concise directives, affirmations, etc. It even helped my 13 year old understand a reset is sometimes needed.

"The Vagus Nerve Reset" is a great handbook for anyone interested in learning more about health and resiliency. It was my introduction to the subject and I'll admit I am intrigued and eager to try the suggested strategies and ideas for implementation. Recommended.

Like an enhanced wikipedia
I am a healthcare provider with some knowledge of the Vagus Nerve and was given this book as a gift. If you are looking for a simple and easy read on the basics as a stepping stone this is the perfect book for you. As other reviewers have stated, it does have an AI feel to it , where I think it could have gone a bit further in some areas, it was a perfect starter to give you a simple overview of a very broad subject.

Vagus Nerve Reset
The Vagus Nerve Reset by Anna Ferguson was a very interesting read. So much I didn't know and wasn't aware of. There are so many books out there that are just psycho babel and the author hasn't experience anything. Anna has actually experienced trauma and uses what she has learned and used for healing. It would have been nice to have some visual ques to some of the techniques and maybe a diagram of the vagus nerve. All in all, I think The Vagus Nerve Reset is a good starting point and helpful techniques to guide you a long your healing journey.Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity read this ebook. I plan on using the information I gained to help me along my own journey to healing.

Brilliant
This book is incredible. So thorough and outlines a very clear plan to implement and use. Easy to understand but also full of knowledge and experience. She’s an amazing practitioner and author and I hope she continues to write more books.
