Jinglong Tea Factory - Puerh Tea Road Brick (24 portions) – Ripe Pu-erh Tea (3.6 ounces/100g)

I was impressed with the speedy delivery. Instructions are clear and customer service is outstanding. This is my first foray into Pu erh tea, and I am savoring it right now. The flavor is delicious, nothing pungent or bitter about it. Just a perfect brew of smooth, robust flavor. I have shared it with other members of my tea-loving family and will replenish my supply soon since half my order has been given away. I know there are much more expensive brands out there, and I have ordered a small sample to compare. However, I am quite happy with all aspects of the ordering, delivery, cost and customer service of the Yiwu Jinglong Laoshu Tea Factory and will be a repeat customer.

I really like this chocolate-bar sized ripe puerh cake. One cube is just enough for a nice big cup of tea. It dissolves quickly so it doesn't take a lot of time, though I usually do a quick 15 second rinse first. Seems impossible to oversteep too--I usually just drop one cube in a big insulated travel mug, and pour a bit at a time into another cup to drink. Long nice aftertaste, and a very mellow drinking tea, home or away. Here I am with a freshly brewed up in Black Dragon Canyon, Utah. Yum!

I was a bit surprised when I received the tea that it was in one solid block (without the chocolate bar-like segments indicated in images). However, after trying the tea itself, it does seem to be of good quality on par with many pu-erh varieties I sampled while living in China. It can be a bit tough to break up without the segments (you really need a tea knife), but a little bit of the block can brew a lot of tea. Overall, pleased with the product.

I started buying the Pu erh tea when I read that it had been FDA tested and approved as helping with weight loss. After trying many different types with a variety in costs, This supplier of the tea has emerged as the best compromise between cost and flavor. I rarely have an over powering fishy scent from the tea, the flavor is excellent and the ease of making the tea is great.They have always had the tea in stock for me when I order and usually I get it within a day even with amazon prime two day shipping.

I'm not sure if I received the wrong product or not, but this tea did not come in individual portions as advertised. It came in one giant block which is hard as a rock and impossible to break. Also, the packaging looks completely different than what other customers received. I guess only some customers will get the correct item and some will not. Order at your own risk.

Highly convenient. Mild to moderate flavor, not fishy at all; more earthy and woodsy, maybe a bit of damp forest floor overtones. I don't even bother rinsing it. And you don't have to bother with the correct sub-boiling temperature as for green tea; just boil the water (preferably filtered) and steep for a few minutes. I get 3-4 infusions per chunk in an 8 oz cup. Nice to use in a gaiwan too, where I get at least 6 infusions. Jinglong is becoming my goto company for daily Puerh tea, although I do like the more expensive cakes and bricks sometimes.

There's not much flavor and it's kind of disappointing. It's just colored water pretty much when you steep it and I steeped it for longer than it recommended and it never pulled any flavor in

This is my second order of this tea. I absolutely love it! It breaks apart easy. It is easy to brew. It taste amazing. I broke it into the cubes it is molded into and keep it like that in a tupperware container. It smells so good. I got it super fast too! I will be trying out all the teas from this company!

Really liked this one. Nice dark cup of tea. Bolder fast. Not bitter or fishy. Will buy again.
