not bad
I tried this on my knees as they are darker. I was afraid the turmeric would stain my face so I tested it there first. did stain the skin but it also exfoliated the dark area on my knees well. I went in with an oil cleanser and another soft scrubbing cloth to remove the stain. worked well but another step not needed. I'll pass on my face and use on darker areas on my body. soft exfoliant in texture and keeps skin hydrated.

Effective
Very coarse product but that’s what I liked about it, I want to feel the scrub working which it did. Fresh lemony scent and very refreshing. The tub is pretty good size and should last for a while as I will not use daily

Very messy
Now I am a very strong advocate for body scrubs but this is trash.first of all it’s too thick to handle sometimes.AND it left a really bad rim on my tub.I think what every oil the use is too thick.I literally had to scrape off the residue off my legs.0/10 would recommend to a friend.

Too course, burns, has Kojic acid.
Based on the ad information I was really looking forward to using this face scrub because it's organic and appeared to have a few great ingredients. My experience with this was not a good one.For me, this is very course for the face, I could barely rub it in without feeling like I was harming my skin. The initial whiff of scent when I opened the jar was ok, didn't smell much. But, when I was applying this it seemed almost caustic in my nose and hurt to breathe it in. Now I see that this has Kojic acid in it which explains the caustic smell and why this also burned on my skin.I was in the shower when I tried this, I put my face under the water and tried to rinse it off. I found it was not easy to do so. There are so many heavy oils, six oils plus beeswax, in this that my face and neck were thickly coated and it wouldn't rinse off. I used my face soap and washed my face twice in order to remove the majority, but there was still some oil left which I was ok with leaving.I won't be using this again and threw it away. I don't recommend this scrub.
