I bought this to try & stop one of our cats from eating the butter. It failed as said cat pushed it off the counter & eat some of the butter.Apart from that it is a lovely & cute dish ,so if you could surround it with things it still could work as cat prevention butter eating .

It’s cute, well made, etc. etc. but it’s completely useless as the lid is too shallow to fit an ordinary size pack of butter!!!!!

This is such an adorable butter dish and the duck design is ever so cute but I do find it's not the most practical. The ceramic lid is a little hard to grab onto. It also slides about on the base so doesn't feel very secure. I would've preferred a ceramic base rather than a bamboo one as the latter seems a little harder to clean. Bamboo is also susceptible to mould which is something to bear in mind. Other than that it's a very cute novelty dish.

There is no denying this is a cute butter dish, but it isn’t hugely practical with a bamboo base combined with a ceramic top. The bamboo isn’t smoothly finished so is difficult to clean and the lid slips loosely on the base with nothing to hold it centrally in place over the butter.It looks good and cute for occasional use, but the bamboo is roughly finished and difficult to clean whilst the beak on the lid is a little small for use as a handle. I like it, but it isn’t practical for daily use.

The media could not be loaded. No problems from him so far. Others say hes not gripabble. If you have clean dry hands theres no problem. If your hands are wet or slippery of course its more difficult but i still did it good enough to get the top off and out the way so i could access the butter.

Decided to ditch store butter blends as they contain unhealthy oils, and got this to store butter on the kitchen counter. It’s nice and sturdy, about the right size for a 250g pat of butter, but the rounded top means it sometimes squashes the top of the butter. But it’s a great product, well worth buying.

This butter dish is so cute! It's a little duck face, and it's beak serves as the handle.The dish is made of bamboo, easy to clean and nice looking.The top is heavy ceramic, also very easy to clean. It fits a normal pound of butter.I love love it !

This Duck Butter Dish is so cute! Very different and unique. Has the wooden plate for the butter, has a ridge all around it so butter can't melt off edges and then the cover has eyes and a beak, the beak is the handle. Made very well.Able to put up to 2 sticks of butter on the dish, which is nice. The lid covers nicely, it is breakable so be careful. Easy to clean and use.Will look wonderful sitting in your counter. Great for all the duck lovers. Would make a wonderful gift too. Highly Recommend it.As for the price, butter dishes always seem to be priced high, so I guess this one is about right.
