I just received this flashlight. It was easy to add the batteries and turn it on. At first I thought they sent me a plain one instead of the blacklight one, but when I turned it on, it is clearly the blacklight flashlight that I had ordered. This flashlight shines well, is powerful, has some weight to it so it seems like it will last forever and it was very simple to shine around the base of the perimeter of our house - while standing straight up - to look for scorpions. Thankfully there were none but it did illuminate several other items. I also used it on the house to see the floors/carpet. Excellent flashlight. I would order it again.

We bought these to look for Yooperlites in the Upper Peninsula. Worked perfectly. It’s CRAZY what everyday things look like with these lights. Buy them and have fun. Yes, shine this on your carpet and every single piddle spot from a dog or cat shows up. Freakily so. Every single water splash in your bathroom will freak you out and have you running for a scrub cloth and bleach. Great sturdy little flashlight and very bright. This thing is so fun! Get one already!

Just received it, work well so far in daytime, can only imagine how awesome it will be at night.It seems durable, heavy.I bought this to find the scorpions in my backyard and for night hikes. Just moved to a desert area, i was told a blacklight is a necessity!

Super happy with this purchase, although not happy about WHY we needed it to find out why the smell of cat pee was so strong in the room we keep exercise equipment. This light showed us where our cat had been secretly peeing on a carpeted mat so we could address the situation. Could not see it without the light. Also, for a real laugh, give it to your husband and tell him to go clean his bathroom using light as a guide!!! Light seems sturdy and works well.

I love it. My cat follows me every where and I didn't realize she followed me into my closet one morning when I went to get a coat. Unfortunately she was in there all day. Trust me I felt like a total jerk. I purchased this flashlight to see if she had an accident in there. I didn't think she did because I would have smelt it. And no she didn't. I am so grateful she's okay and no accidents. Works like they say.

This product did not turn on. I have emailed the company for a replacement or refund. 🤞🏼Here is a follow-up I did get a replacement. I increased my rating to 3 stars. The light works fine, but the connections between the LED lights and the battery are not good. We have to take it apart and make sure the spring from the lights to the battery stays in the correct spot.

Wow! I never knew that this would work. People told me about it. Very bright extremely sturdy and durable. I am also partially blind and it helps very well in finding recent stains. This product works best on New P puddles. Use it every day! Do not let the stain dry. I highly recommend this product!

UPDATE: flash light died. Won’t work at all with new batteries. Very disappointed. Had to order a new one. I barely used this flash light. Used it for a week when I got it. Then once or twice. It sat for almost a year and won’t work. It’s not like it could have worn out and it was never dropped. A flash light should work for years!!!I could have sworn I did a review on this item when I purchased it. I bought it because a dog peed on my expensive wool rugs. The black light showed me the spots so I could treat with enzyme cleaners. Boy was I in for a surprised when I started walking around the house in the dark. I thought I was Mrs. Clean, but my house looked like a luminal crime scene from CSI. A year and a 2 months later I grab my light again. It wont work. I think its the batteries. Order new batteries, it still wont work. Add aluminum foil to the battery area, and presto it works again. I shouldnt have to add foil to get it to work. Disappointed!!!! When it works its great!
