Replacing cable from Razer Copperhead, not NAGA
I had an older Razer Copperhead mouse that I love and it had a very chewed up cable from our bird. I thought it was done until I found this replacement cable. The pins on the plug matched the cable from the Copperhead but the lead from the front of the mouse to the plug inside the mouse was not as long on the replacement cable as was the lead on the OEM cable. I used a pocket knife to whittle away the grommet that was on the replacement cable and found that the cable under the grommet was just a straight cable ran through the rubber grommet so it came off very easily and as clean as can be. I was then able to route the cable through the mouse and out the front and now it is working as if it were new, but with one added bonus. The replacement cable is braided. The original was just a plain plastic covered cable. I am happy this worked and as long as the cable pins match your Razer mouse, this might work on other mice like it did with my Razer Copperhead replacement. For $10, I now have a working Copperhead again.

green and white wires need to be switched for naga trinity
4/5 because of the minor hassle of switching the wires. otherwise, fixed and 100% working. if you can take the mouse apart and replace the cable, you are totally capable of swapping the wires - all you need are some needlenose tweezers.green/white wires need to be switched for use with the naga trinity - see first photo for correct order (you can just look at the cable you are removing). second photo shows the pliers in use, slide them in and push the tweezers at an angle while gripping the end of the wire (so that the white plastic of the clip is sticking out a bit) and then you can pull the wire out.

Identical to original NAGA 2014 Cable
Cable was identical to the original cable that came on my Naga 2014. No need to swap wires on the connector. My mouse works perfectly again.

Does not work. Connector wired wrong.
Ordered for a Razer Naga Trinity model RZ01-0241.Replaced the cord without issue, but it was not detected when I plugged it into my computer's USB port. Disassembled the mouse again and found the wires in the connector were all mixed up.Let's get this straightened out ASAP.

A little tinkering required
So, this will work but it requires some cable rearrangement. I bought this for my 2009 Razer Naga. At first it wouldn't turn on. I found out that it's cause the pin order needs to be swapped around. I forgot the order but with a little web searching, you will find the correct order. The cable feels very clean and bends easily without getting kinks or knots.

Mixed up wires
The green and white wires were switched? Had to cut and change the wires to get the cable to work.

Works great!
Didn't use it for a Naga, but for a Naga HEX. It's the same plug, BUT all of the pins are inverted in the plug. Fairly easy to pop out the pins and reverse the order, but just something to think about!

Replacing Razer Trinity Cable
I recently purchased this cable to replace a bad cable for Razer Trinity mouse. I had two of the wires were backwards for my mouse. The original cable goes Red, Green, White, Black, Black. On the new cable the Green and White cables were switched (Red, White, Green, Black, Black) I just used a small flat head screwdriver to pull the Green and White cables from the retaining clip harness. You could easily break the clip if you apply too much pressure. It works great so far. No constant disconnects. Hope this helps

Works perfectly once cables rearranged! (Naga Trinity)
I bought this cable to replace the one on my Naga Trinity which had a broken usb connector.Much like other reviews here have stated, the colours need to be switched around in order to be compatible (green and white in my case, thanks to the other review by eekabomb for showing how this is done).Rest assured this was an easy process with needlenose tweezers and can easily be done by any amateur but was still quite fiddly. However once put all back together the mouse works perfectly!Very happy to not have to buy the expensive newer version and instead just need to buy replacement mouse feet/skates.
