I took these on a sailing trip to the British Virgin Islands. They were easy to put on and fit securely while providing a little bit of protection from the elements. There is a thin rubber sole which makes it easy to walk on sand and swim through the sea. The only major drawback for me was the insoles aren't secured so when I was taking the wet water shoes off after swimming an insole slipping out and sank underwater. Not having the insoles didn't really change the experience for the rest of the trip, but it was still annoying to lose one so easily. One other disclaimer is that I accidentally kicked the wall of a cave while snorkeling and a spine of an urchin stuck in my toe even through the shoes, so these don't offer that much protection from spikey guys that sting the tops of your toes! But definitely better than barefoot.Once I came home I ran the shoes through my washer and hung to dry and they seem ready for another use. Overall I definitely recommend!

In my original review I wasn't sure rather or not the shoes were HQ because I hadn't worn them in water. Other than the fit they exceeded my expectations! They are what I cleverly call UHQ! These worked so well for playing in the ocean in Hawaii. Kept my toes safe from the lava rocks and were snug enough to keep the sand out. They didn't feel too heavy or waterlogged. Easy to rinse the sand off. They have thin enough soles while still being protective. I even walked from the beach through the parking lot wearing them and felt protected from the hot sand and asphalt. I like the fun bright colors. I wear an 8.5 and the 9s fit fairly snugly. Great little water socks!

I bought this shoe for an aqua fitness class. Did not want to slip while exercising and this shoe fit the purpose. Good fit, true to size, stays on and does not sip. Grips the bottom of the pool wonderfully. Highly recommend.

I wore these snorkeling in Hawaii and they worked well. It was a cold rainy day so we were in the water less than an hour, but I am glad I had them. I have worn them once to water aerobics and they worked well. I may have been able to get a smaller size because they are so pliable, but they still worked well for me.

I was skeptical of this water shoe at first ordering sight unseen. When I received them, I tried them on and was amazed at how well they felt and fit. My only reason for not giving it a 5 star is the removable insole. At this point, I don't see it holding up as long as the shoe. One wear and your foot is imprinted on the insole. How will it hold up, that's the question. It would be nice if the company sold replacement insoles, if needed. Would I buy again, the answer is yes.

These shoes fit and feel great, plus the pattern is bold and colorful, I just made the mistake of washing them with my trunks and it ruined them, causing a forest of frayed threads to erupt from the toes. If you just don't wash them, they are 10/10

These shoes provide great grip to the bottom of a pool. The only issue is that the hem-line is not that good. Right now it is falling away quickly. Granted, I have issues placing the complete bottom of my foot on the bottom of the pool, though. I have been in the pool only 9 times and it has gotten this bad. I will be buying another company’s shoes to replace these in hopes that those shoes will last longer.
