Much Much Better Than Expected
This patio heater in hammered bronze is high quality, produces a great amount of heat and looks beautiful.Assembly was not near as bad as some of these reviews say it is, assembly took about 50 minutes, did not need the instruction and the tools in the package were great. It took longer to unbox than to assemble. The unit worked perfectly the first time and has every time we use it.It seems fashionable to bash products now days for really insignificant things. I can tell you this manufacturer thought about the packaging and the product and it really shows.Only improvement I suggest is to increase the print in the manual. I am older and my eyes are not what they used to be.

Looks beautiful but I need more heat
I needed a heater for my back patio to enjoy the evenings out when I got cold. I ordered this one in particular because of its sleekness and I thought it would provide a great amount of heat over my patio area. When the heater arrived, I assembled it in my home. It was very easy to assemble. I like the design of the heater and that a cover was included. Once completed I had no idea it was going to be as tall as it was. I was a little nervous and didn’t think I could transport it outside without dissembling it but I was able to and it appeared to be about 7-8ft (I did not look at the dimensions before buying it). It can fit on my deck (see picture) and also looks nice on my lower patio because there's more space; however, we can’t really feel the heat unless we are standing next to it. Turning up the propane emits more heat but my wife still needs to be next to the heater to actually feel the heat. She gets very cold. I think because it is so tall the heat is at the top of the heater as opposed to the bottom which is where you are sitting. I also think that maybe having one heater isn’t enough for the amount of heat we both want to feel on those chilly nights.

Looks great but not fun putting it together
The end product looks great and has been working well. A larger deflector at the top might have helped because you have to be pretty close to it to feel the warmth. A more heavy-duty cover would have been appreciated, since I'm not sure the one that came with it would provide much protection in a heavy snow. The real problem I had with it were the instructions. I've put together a number of items in the last several years, including chairs and furniture, but this was the most difficult to follow, for several reasons. The directions were so small that I needed a magnifying glass the whole time. The parts are not labeled, which would have been helpful, and the part numbers are very hard to see in the booklet. Most importantly, the "Important Note" should have come at the beginning of each section, not at the end. Because of that, I had to undo what I had done and start all over again in the first section. Also, I was never able to get one of the screws to fit.

Love it!
The media could not be loaded. If you are looking for this to be a 'heater' it does throw out some heat. We were looking for ambiance and some warmth and for that this is awesome! If it's really cold, (We live in New England), we'll crank this puppy up, dress warm, and put a Mr. Heater small bottle propane stove under the table by our feet. Note we do keep a safety strap around the base anchored to the corners of our deck for wind gust. It's tall, so something to think about. I've read other reviews and some people use sandbags.

Beautiful way to add heat to your patio or deck
We purchased this to add something extra to our deck for the cooler summer and fall nights this past year and this thing did not disappoint! Assembly went fairly well. The flames this thing puts out is amazing to view...actually stare at. The heat output is certainly acceptable, however, not as hot or direct as our other standard mushroom patio heater. This is only due to the larger reflector on the mushroom style and the fact that the glass on this pyramid unit actually radiates heat evenly all around the unit so it keeps a small group evenly warm approximately 6 feet around the heater. The quality seems really high to me so I've been very pleased with that as well. We are very happy with this purchase and would do it all over again!

Great patio heater
I wanted an attractive and effective heater for my outdoor patio, and this heater fit the bill. The gas flame is attractive and the pictures on the website are a good representation. The only issue I had was in a few steps in the product assembly. The instructions for the shelf were missing, although it was pretty intuitive to figure it out at the end. Some of the brackets that hold up the decorative safety cage weren’t big enough to work. I was able to fix that pretty quickly by using a screwdriver to expand them to fit over their wire. All in all, it did take some work to assemble, but it was worth it!

Assembly is hell
Ok so I love this thing now that it’s put together but what a pain. I’m experienced in metal work and assembly. For starters some of the main structural components were bent from shipping. This meant most of the screws didn’t line up. So that was fun. Then the screws included with the set have threads that are beer can aluminum strong. I think nearly every one I tried rounded out. So to the hardware store I go for $8 worth of new machine screws. By that time I had already screwed up some of the threads in the metal so that took some time to fix. I know there are more expensive ones out there but this one wasn’t the cheapest and man that was frustrating. Instructions were pretty good. The shelf and cover are nice touches. The flame from this thing is impressive and the heat is really good. Hoping it holds up. I would still probably recommend it but would tell you to grab one of each of the main machine screws and run to your local hardware store right away in the beginning. Then throw the other screws out. For the record I assembled it myself in a few hours, which included running to the hardware store and a few “beverage breaks.”

Instructions are challenging
This heater works as intended and puts out a nice, soothing flame. I attempted to put it together, using the instructions that came with it, but could not understand them, as they are very poorly written. I was able to go on YouTube and find the exact model, and it made the assembly quite easy.
