This is the good stuff! Pasta with flavor that's easy to cook and eat!
This pasta has flavor, texture, and soaks up sauce very well. I have also found it to be difficult to over or under cook. 8 minutes as directed has worked perfectly for me, but I have had a few instances where it went long, and one where I was in a hurry and didn't quite get the water to a roiling boil but it turned out good anyway.Because it soaks up the sauce, the sauce doesn't just go to the bottom of the pan when you do the mix-in. As such I have been able to get 6 meals out of a 16 oz jar of sauce when I usually only get 3 or 4 with generic pasta. I have also been able to make my favorite quick homemade recipe; a simple butter and garlic pasta which is usually a watery mess when using generic pasta, but the Pastificio soaks it up and makes it awesome!I have been surprised and excited that Pastificio Di Martino has been so easy to eat and digest. Having had gastric bypass surgery and gallbladder removal, I've had no gastrointestinal issues with any meals I've made using this spaghetti.I am also type 2 diabetic, and while I love pasta, most generic and even name brand US made stuff makes me feel sick, gross, and dehydrated, so I rarely eat pasta. But when I really want some good homemade Italian food I make my own by going to the local Amish or imported foods market and buying good quality semolina, making dough and rolling out my own pasta. When I do this I can eat as much as I want. This Pastificio Di Martino spaghetti is as good as the homemade pasta I make.I don't know what else to say; but I could go on and on about how great I think this spaghetti is. Get some and try it yourself; If you love real homemade pasta I think you will enjoy this spaghetti.

Great Tasting Fancy Pants Pasta
This is a whole lotta pasta! Just to be clear; this item is a twenty-pound box of spaghetti… each pound is individually packaged in one-pound packs… but there are twenty of them! That’s 32,000 calories of spaghetti! So, you either need to be very hungry or have a very large family or be filming another live action remake of “The Lady and The Tramp” or you need to own an Italian restaurant. Or maybe not… these do have a long shelf life. In February, 2024, I received pasta that expires in October, 2026. That’s more than two and a half years! And it’s probably good beyond that, as well. You just need to make sure you have room to store twenty packs of spaghetti. The spaghetti itself is quite good. When dealing with dry pasta (as opposed to freshly made pasta), I normally find there isn’t that much difference. It’s a pretty generic product and it’s really just a conveyance for the sauce. This is unique in that it has a nice texture and chew. It cooks perfectly (al dente in about eight minutes at a rolling boil) and has the added cachet of being imported from Italy. The individual packaging looks very Old World, so you can easily leave a pack or two on your counter when your friends come over for dinner. They’ll be impressed, especially since they are unlikely to have seen this at their local supermarket!

So good!
This pasta is wonderful for hot as well as cold pasta dishes. It cooks pretty close to the recommendation. You get a lot in each box so we are set for a while!

Authentic and delicious spaghetti but overpriced
Pastificio Di Martino spaghetti pasta 16oz 20 packs. Made from 100% Italian semolina wheat. Made in Italy. High protein and fiber, vegan, kosher, non gmo. Expiration date Oct 2026, over 2 years out. The packaging and box came looking just like the pictures.I got this as a surprise for my hubby. I don’t eat very much pasta anymore due to medical reasons. This is his new favorite. He LOVES this pasta and has had it almost daily for the past couple weeks. It’s good with marinara or Alfredo sauce. It cooks in 8 minutes but is very forgiving if over-boiled. He says it’s flavorful, filling, and authentic. My only complaint is the high cost. 85$ a box works out to 4.25 a pack, more than double the cost of our local brand. Just take that as you will. Hubby is very pleased with it regardless so I would likely get again.

20lbs of great spaghetti!
First I have to say that seeing a listing of "20 packs of spaghetti" at 16oz (1lb.) each, and then receiving a 20lb. box of spaghetti is a bit overwhelming. That's a lot of pasta! I am set for quite a long time. See my photo of the entire box of pasta that was shipped to me.I followed the instructions and dropped it into well-salted boiling water for 8 minutes, and it came out perfectly. Great texture and chew. I added some Alfredo sauce and topped it with some chicken thighs and broccoli. Delicious dinner! See my photos for photos of just the cooked noodles, and then my finished dish. All that said, it's good, but it feels a bit expensive. It still dry pasta, and at the time of my purchase it was $85 for 20 packs, which comes to $4.25 each. It's good pasta, but not remarkable. My grocery store sell individual boxes of dry spaghetti for around $1.50 - $3.00 each, and I honestly cannot tell a big difference between them. In the end your pasta tastes like whatever you are putting on top of it anyway. I am no pasta expert though, so perhaps there is something I am missing. It's good pasta, not great, and maybe a bit too expensive.

Great spaghetti, gorgeous package!
I'll admit that I'm a sucker for good packaging and this spaghetti comes in the most gorgeous packaging! Want to know why? The package was designed by Dolce and Gabbana! But obviously the bag can only go so far in getting me to buy pasta and the product would actually need to be really good to get me to pay that price- this listing comes with 20 packs, which is a ton, but at the current cost, that's still $4.25/pack, which is high for a pound of spaghetti. However, this is really, really good spaghetti. I'm not sure it's possible to go back to store-brand or any of the lower end brands after enjoying this. It's easy to cook the pasta to a perfect al dente and it isn't sticky or overly starch-y after cooking and doesn't stick together at all like other brands often do. It has great flavor and the perfect bite to it. I've been using it in all sorts of pasta dishes, but it's also absolutely delicious with just a little butter and parmesan.I'm a fan and am happy the product matches the packaging!
