Mounting brackets are very durable but it looks nice.

So the instructions say it's only for 170" wheel base and I wrote the company if it will fit my 2016 MB sprinter 144" and got an answer that it does not. Well it does and it will stay.

Product quality first rate instructions clear, fit and finish impeccable. Very sturdy (as tested by my 250 lb body) only thought - nylon lock nuts would be an upgrade. Installed on 170 extended high roof 2012 sprinter. While time will tell, I expect a long and happy relationship.

It fits perfectly on my 2021 sprinter. Looks very nice for the money too.

These side steps are great! The quality of the mounting brackets are far better then ones I have seen recently on sprinter vans also please be aware if the sprinter has factory rear roof a/c some brackets have to be modified to fit due to a/c lines over all great product.
