This hansang Rechargeable Night Light is adorable! Included in the giftable box was the light itself, an instruction sheet, and a USB charging cord. After unpacking I tested the light to see if it would turn on, which it did. I then turned it back off to fully charge per the instructions.The light operates by using a single button at the top of the light. A long press turns it on/off, and a short press cycles it between colors. The listing is accurate with the 3 white light (brightness) settings and 6 color settings, the 6th being the 'breathing' setting which cycles the colors.There is also a timer button on the side of the light near the charge port. You press the button to cycle between 1-2-4 hours, as well as timer off, and a corresponding light tells you if the timer is active, and if so for which length (see photo). The charge port also has a corresponding indicator light. This lights up red when charging, and turns off when unit is fully charged.I use this for some mood lighting while soaking, and haven't worn the battery out yet. I haven't kept track of how long the unit has been on, but can safely say its been over 6 hours. The light itself is a pleasing design when not in use, streamlined and unobtrusive. When on, the light is diffused nicely even at the brightest white setting. A metal hanging hook on the bottom pivots out to allow you to hang the unit upside down if desired. This is a great feature that would allow you to hang it in a tent, or even in a child's room to keep it out of reach.Slightly wider and taller than a 12oz soda can, it's quite portable, with no cords needed due to the built in battery. It is also fairly lightweight, but has a nice weight balance to it with the bottom of the unit bearing the weight to keep it from tipping over. You can turn on the light while the charging cord is plugged in, but there is no indication on the operating instructions if this will harm the battery.I can't speak to battery longevity yet, but 5 stars for everything else thus far.

This light will be useful for those night time feedings. I gave if four stars because the description is not clear. The white light is the only color with three brightness settings. The other colors have only one setting. The single settings cast a low light in the room but the lamp itself seems bright to your eyes. In other words you would likely want it placed behind you or blocked in some other fashion so you don't look directly at the light. The low setting on the white light is a soft white and will prove the most useful. Perhaps the other colors will be more useful when your child needs a light on in their room. You can set the timer to turn off once they are asleep.

I am absolutely loving this portable light! It's the perfect size and I love that it has the hook to hang for a handsfree light that my kids use when they play in their makeshift tents from time to time.Unlike other lamps I've bought, it didn't feel cheap or flimsy, it works as described.It charges fast and th battery lasts the whole nighteven when used on the brightest bright white setting.One of the coolest features is that it has a built-in timer, which is super convenient for when the kids fall asleep with it on.The colors shine beautifully and I love the the color transitioning feature that creates a fun and gorgeous ambiance.My favorite portable light yet!

First of all the color of the normal light is not very warm. It’s more of a cool light. This might be OK if the red light was actually red but it’s not really red it’s hard to explain, but I find it to be harsh on the eyes with a horrible flicker rate. Don’t believe me just take a video of it with your cell phone and you’ll see what I’m talking about. We have lights in our house for the evening. This is the only one that felt harsh to my eyes and when I took a video with my cell phone, it was obvious why. Also the individual colors are not dimmable at all. On top pf that I don’t like the look of it looks cheap and just stand out on my night stand. Also having to cycle through every color to get back to the dim light is annoying. Poorly executed design for my particular uses, I’ll search for something else.

This lamp is great for younger kids. It's soft so I don't worry about it falling and hurting anyone. It is easy to operate, my 4 year old can turn it on/off and change colors and brightness. The battery last through the night and may go longer, I've just recharged it daily. The ability to change brightness is great.

I picked up this light mainly because of the unique design in that it has a handle on the bottom so you can carry it- like a mini lantern. I must say I’m very happy with it. The overall design is minimal and unobtrusive so it looks good in pretty much any space. I like the basic controls as well- the single timer button with the indicator and being able to just press the top of the light to cycle through all the light functions is nice. I will say it takes getting used to having to press down on the top for like 2 seconds (I understand why they did this since you cycle through the light settings by pressing the same button, you don’t want to accidentally turn it off while you cycle.) I also tested how long the battery lasts on a full charge- I had it in the color change mode and it was going strong beyond 12 hours for me. (I didn’t want to completely kill the battery so I stopped it after that and charged it back up.) Best of all is the USB-C charge port. All of my electronics are getting USB-C ports now so it’s nice to have as much consistency as possible. All in all this is a great little light and I highly recommend it!

I do a lot of camping and lighting has always been an issue. Too bright, too dim, too harsh, etc, etc. It also good to have products that have multiple uses so that you get maximum value.This light does everything that it claims. It past every test I threw at it. It can charge off even the weakest sources and the battery lasts for a long time. It gives off a really pleasant glow , yet can be used as a reading lamp or a hanging lantern (it has a folding hanger at the bottom). I even tried it as a flashlight. The timer function worked without any problem. The brightest setting gives off a nice warm light at about 2700K which is very easy on the eyes. The colour settings were also quite pleasant, especially the "breathing" setting. I did not test it for being waterproof or ruggedness because that is not it's intended use. However the build quality seems excellent. This would make a great emergency kit lamp.This product really impressed me and I highly recommend it.

Nice and sturdy lamp but I can’t get it to ever turn on, I’ve tried everything and it’s only turned on once and now won’t turn on anymore.

I ordered the rechargeable F1 night light with colors from hansang.The light is excellent beside my bed when I need to get up in the middle of the night. A 1 second press can turn the light on or off. A short press cycles through three white (yellowish) brightness levels, five static colors, and a mode where the light keeps changing color at medium brightness every few seconds. The brightest white is enough to illuminate a night table while, the lowest white basically marks the location of your night stand without lighting up anything on it.A very small button on the side at near the bottom provides power for 1, 2, or 4 hours if you want the light to turn off by itself. The button clicks gently when pressed.The light is very lightweight, but not apt to tipping over and the large white button on top is easy to find in the dark. The button is touch sensitive.This is an excellent light for a night stand.

I have been using this product for over a month and here are my thoughts.What I liked:- The product has lots of lighting options available, different brightness's and six different light colours.- There is a built-in timer.- There is a hook on the bottom of the lamp, so you can hang it from the inside of a tent or use it to carry the lamp around as a lantern.- The lamp is multi-use being useful for more than a night light, could be used for camping, reading, as a bedside light, or during a power outage.- The lamp is lightweight and compact.- The battery life is good.- The light admitted is soft and feels warm and gentle.What I didn't like:- The biggest issue with the lamp is that all of the controls (except for the timer) are controlled by a single button. Thus, all of the brightness levels and all of the light colour options are controlled by one button. This means you must press the button multiple times to get the desired setting.- The charging cable that comes with the lamp is rather short. However, it does use a type-C charging cable, which is very common and, therefore, should be easy to find a longer replacement cable if necessary.Bottomline, the lamp works well and has lots of uses, but is cumbersome to control.
