Great cream, designed and produced by a great barber
I’ve been using this product for several years and really like it. The owner of Victory Crown is my barber and is very talented and knowledgeable which shows in his excellent products. What I like about this cream is that it has a pleasant and mellow smell, works very well to shape hair, while becoming soft and with a dry look as the day goes on—not crispy or greasy at all.One can last me a few months, as you don’t need much for it to be effective as a hair sculpter. It comes out easily in the shower just by rinsing, and doesn’t have build-up issues. Great product and good price on Amazon.

Decent hold, truly matte finish, but still not perfect
This is the stuff my hairstylist always recommends for me, and while it is the best matte pomade I've tried that isn't wildly expensive, it doesn't hold THAT well. If I bend over too much, or it's windy out, or anything else happens to disrupt my pompadour, my hair's gonna start parting and falling down on the sides, even with a ton of pomade and hair spray. But my pompadour is higher/longer than the way most men cut their hair, so if you're a man this stuff will probably work for you! If you're a queer woman with a gay haircut and a limited budget, you should probably bring a comb with you to fix it up during the day (I carry around a switchblade comb myself, and my friend told me it would impress girls, but so far I think it's actively repelled women and men alike, so maybe just a normal comb??).Sorry for the weird pictures. The Instagram filtered one is what my hair looks like fresh from the stylist, and the cosplay WIP one is about the best I can get my hair to look with this pomade, before it starts to part halfway through the day.

It was the solution for me!
I have been using the Victory Crown paste for several months now. My barber first introduced it to me because I was looking for a pomade that would still allow me to style it throughout the day. I have full but fairly thin hair and most oil based pomades were out of the question. Other water based pomades were too heavy and didn't allow any restyle to it. This allows me to run my fingers through it throughout the day with no issue. I'd actually say it's a bit more than "light hold". I think it's about medium to medium-low. It has a pleasant, very minimal scent. Spreads easily, works easily, and washes off very easily. At around $19 a can, it does tend to be a bit on the upper end of products, but I'll happily pay it because I haven't found anything similar. Clays don't do it, other water-based matte pomades can't do it.For me at least, this is my go to. I've tired countless other brands and pomade types before settling on this (Reuzel, Sauvecito, Tip Top, Imperial, etc).

No hold
This product couldn't even hold my hair for half a day. Very disappointed. Also still leave residue on hand if touched in the slightest. Into the trash it goes.
