Helped my Anxious dog
These helped my anxious dog relax when I was out of the home at work, the bottle is on the smaller side, so wont last long, but this did calm him down enough that it was no longer an issue me not being present during the day, this allowed him to relax and sleep when I wasn't around.

Difficult to see a big difference
Our dog is a bag of nerves and any loud sound tends to have her running under the table. So I was not optimistic about seeing a benefit. So far after more than week I can't really say I have noticed much change. I try a bit more, but I'll keep going in case it needs more time.

Helps
I use pet calming drops for my cat to help reduce his stress and anxiety over the festive period. It didn't seem to reduce his stress for the travelling side of things, but hestay settled in a strange environment and he did not appear anxious at all so it helped in that aspect. It's main ingredient is valerian root, which is similar to catnip for cats but in a more calming way.It has quite an oily texture and a strong, unpleasant smell similar to feet (if you've ever bought your cat a valerian root filled toy you will know what I mean). However, as most cats are pretty attracted to valerian root this didn't put my cat off his food - although he's on a strict weight loss diet so he's not especially picky with his food. The price is pretty good, however how long it lasts will depend on the size of the pet you use it for. I plan to only use it for times where he might get anxious/stressed (like a vet visit) so it should last me a decent amount of time. It would be less good value for money if I needed to use it regularly.

Has no effect whatsoever on my dog
This had no effect on my dog whatsoever, I gave the 4 pipettes as she is over the 10kg as indicated on the bottle, I’ve been using this for 3 or 4 days now & not the slightest bit of difference in her, I put it in her dry food so she consumes it with her food. I did smell this calming oil before I placed it onto her dish & it reminded me of a wet dog smell.

Seem to work
We’ve tried a few calming drops and treats and generally they all work okay. These are no exception. Whilst I can’t say I’ve noticed a huge change, there is enough for me to feel they work as well as the others.I’d suggest putting this in their food rather than using as a drop. But you know your pet best, I just find that way easier. You get quite a lot in here and it should last a while. We are happy with it.

Classic calming aid
My dog is terrified of storms and fireworks and I use this valerian formula calming liquid which is aimed at both dogs and cats. Dogs over 10kg, no matter how much over, need 4 full pipettes a day whilst those under, including cats, should be given 2 full pipettes, according to the instructions. This can be added to their food or water or straight into their mouth, my preferred option so I know my stressed out dog definitely takes the calming aid, especially as valerian isn't the tastiest. It really helped him, he was completely zonked and slept through the rest of a very long fireworks party in the next road which started an hour earlier than expected so I hadn't had time to pre-treat him but it kicked in quickly, he stopped shaking and being agitated, then slept deeply. He was absolutely fine the next morning and woke me up early to go out.4* – A very effective calming aid for big events such as storms and fireworks but, for me, it wouldn't be used every day to soothe him during the day as it sent him into a deep sleep, although I'm going to use it when he's particularly anxious at night to help calm him down, as well as for future storms.

Helps a little
Volume - have enough to last a long time. I only put a little on my puppy’s water to help valm her down a little .Effects - calming a little. Non toxic and she seems not bothered with the taste. She is a boisterous dog and loves to run around the house a lot. A bit calmer and settled after using this. Also helps when I am about to do her nails which she totally hates.Smell - not bad smellingGood value. Will be very helpful to those with temperamental dogs.
