This came in like hundreds of pieces. It was hard to put together. I thought my younger child would love to do it but it turned out to be to hard for her. Her older sister had to put it together and it took her over six hours, there were just so many pieces. The end result is quite beautiful though, so the hard work is worth it.

When I tell you that the directions are garbage I mean just that. It takes 4 to 6 hours to put together if you put it together all in one sitting, good luck with that. I spent 3 days just trying to figure out how the ears went on the head. I did it in about 4 days because the frustration that built would have ended up being a waste of money because I wanted to smash it.

I got this for my 9 year old daughter. The box says 8 years & up. DEFINITELY not true lol. I ended up having to assemble this darn thing. After many hours & cuss words later, the finished product is stunning.

Purchased for my daughter as a Christmas gift. We recently sat down together to assemble it. After about 2 minutes she was overwhelmed and lost interest. I decided to see it through. After about 8-10 total hours, I can say that it is together.Unfortunately, one entire section of the LED lights does not work. The directions are fuzzy blobs instead of pictures. The directions say things like "it should look like this," good luck figuring out what the picture shows. I even went to the website and looked for better pictures. No luck! Maybe if I was able to borrow a telescope from NASA I might be able to see something resembling a shape. The pins are really tiny, not designed for larger hands. Every time I folded a piece the way it showed in the picture, I had to unhook it and fold it the other way. It's a nice idea and I'm sure it would look really nice if it was completely lit up but I don't get to see that.

This was given to my daughter as a Christmas gift and I ended up having to put it together for her. It was challenging and fun to put together and looks better than I thought it would! We didn't realize until we got to the step that the small roundish piece that goes on the bottom of the left back leg was wrong and by then I wasn't going to take it completely apart. All the other pieces line up perfectly but now that leg is messed up. I couldn't get the leg secured completely so it's very wobbly so maybe the whole leg piece is wrong? Either way I would definitely recommend this as a gift because that mishap doesn't take away from how beautiful the lantern is when completed.

I gave this to a 10 year old and they loved it. Said it was fun and easy to put together.

The kit includes everything one needs to construct the 3D structure as well as additional battery powered lights to make it glow. Even though the instructions could be better, we were able to figure it out and complete the design. Love it but it’s difficult to put together so be prepared to help.

It definitely took a few minutes to really start getting into it but all in all it was a fun project! May get the rest to do as gifts for my daughters.

Christmas present

We bought this for a friend and it turned out quite stunningly.
