The media could not be loaded. short video is after used once. the eyes are not fixed good so you need to fit them back on. the rods quite flimsy even though I bout the biggest one available. not impressed.

Rod snapped on first cast
Very bad rod. Snapped after a little tug when got caught in seaweed.

Nice, compact kit when you need one
I really like the telescopic rods and the bag is pretty nice as well. The tackle included is of lower quality and I recommend you stock it with better gear. The reels work but are not equal to the quality of the rods leaving a lot to be desired. I know I am coming off as bashing it and that is not my intention. For the price this is a good beginner kit that you can leave behind the seat of your truck, pull it out when you need it and it should get the job done.

Compact but Questionable Quality
I wasn’t expecting $250 quality, just something to toss behind the truck seat… but that worked 100% of the time.First off – the rods collapse down to impressively short dimensions. Unfortunately, I didn’t take into account how stiff that would make them. These have VERY LITTLE action for a fresh-water panfish rod; they are more the stiffness of an open-water casting rod for 10+ pound fish. Of the two collapsible rods, one had a line-guide broken off near the grip – I believe it can be reglued. Of the two reels, one bail fails to hold open about 30% of the time, the 2nd between 45~50% when first activated to cast. Once the bail holds open, only a slight turn should be needed to close it and begin quickly retrieving line. About 50% of the time, the reel catches on the bail release and requires a considerable twist to close the bail – other times it closes perfectly. Once retracting line, the reels are very smooth with a good gear ratio. I was hoping for a value commensurate with sales price, but don’t believe I achieved that.
