The problem with magic heroes is that they are so powerful that by rights the story would only last two pages. To make it last longer they have things interfere with what's happening and spells to not work right. This story is definitely dragged out some. By the end of the first volume virtually nothing has been revealed. I hope the second volume moves things along more. However I must admit I went through the volume much faster than I thought I would and it is quite thick. The art is very good and if you like magic stories you will probably enjoy this

Bought it as a big fan of DC magic side and general love for Zatanna. Great start with vol one, however the book uses the webtoon format and as such is slightly smaller than regular trades but bigger than a manga. Not bad, just different format.

Not the best or worst book I have read. Very skippable.
