Please don't waste your money on this poorly constructed hose.
This is not my first spring type hose, however, this particular brand is a genuine piece of JUNK! When another reviewer wrote of the cheap aluminum ends and not being able to tighten it to an outdoor faucet, I dismissed his review for no other reason than the many positive reviews, now I need to go back to see how many of those are "paid" reviews i.e. given a discount for their thoughts. The female end was so poorly made, it would not screw on tight enough by hand to the brass faucet, and blew water all over the place when I attempted to use it.The reason I purchased this was for space saving convenience on my boat, a regular hose takes up more valuable space. Today, I pulled out both my old spring hose (of another brand) and also removed this new product from its package in order to fill my water tanks (one hose will not reach). At home, I have another hose rated as "contractor grade", whatever that means, which has heavy, machined aluminum ends. Those ends are much sturdier than the cheap brass sometimes found on hoses. Not this hose, the aluminum is so thin I'm surprised it did not bend when I attempted to screw it onto the brass faucet. There is no place to grip either! All you have is an almost smooth female fitting, no metal extends below it to grip as my other hoses do. The black ends below the fitting look good in the picture, however, they are a cheap hunk of flexible material and slide back onto the hose itself if you attempt to use them as a grip to assist for tightening. They must be for appearance only as they serve no other purpose.Honestly, the last time I encountered a water hose this poorly made was when I ordered from another vendor, four of those "as seen on TV" collapsible hoses. Those were so poorly constructed, of the four I purchased, none made it an entire season and in fact a couple of them blew out when pressurized the first time. Live and learn, or so I thought I had! The good part about purchasing from Amazon is that they right the wrong, I printed my return label moments ago. Thank you Amazon!

Lighter but Difficult
I wanted to like these. I needed to like them. I was having diffulculty lugging around a traditional hose due to a shoulder injury and my garden and outside was suffering. They are light weight. but the length is deceptive in that to get it you have to really stretch those coils out. Frankly my shoulder could not handle the constant tension. Which is why I ordered the second hose thinking then I could reach the area's I needed to get to. Although lighter the combined bulk and tangles of the hoses made it difficult for me to handle . the connections both to the facuet and the other hose dispite checking the washers continue to leak. storing them is probmatic in trying to walk them back and then coral them together. At this point I just wish I could get them to stop leaking. It's a minor flood everytime I turn them on. and the connection to the water is flimsy, and looks like it is coming away from the hose. If your tired of coiling traditional hoses be prepared .These tangle easily and a basket is going to be the fastest way to store them, they do not bounce back to the orginal neat spiral ,it is difficult to keep them from becoming a tangled mess when you stretch them out to there expected length. I wanted less work ,ease of use and this just did not work for me.

So far, so good
I bought this over the winter to use to resurface my backyard ice rink because I got sick of tripping over a normal hose and didn't need a high flow. It was pliable and held it's shape (for the most part) while in sub zero temperatures however it was only outside when being used with ~60F temp water flowing through it.It now lives in my garage hooked up to the water heater drain which then goes into my pressure washer to wash car parts. the scalding hot water and high pressure blasts thick grease off in no time. The heat has yet to cause it to leak or separate.

Turns green
This is a beautiful hose - but only at first. I bought one two summers ago to replace a really nice blue translucent coil hose that I found at home depot or Lowes. That original hose was great and lasted for many years until a workman misused it.. I use a pigtail hose to water a small area of plants and love the way it doesn't take up a lot of room but extends as far as needed when needed . Anyway, when I saw this one on Amazon, I thought it must be the same as I had before. Unfortunately it wasn't . It's made of a light plastic that quickly yellowed in the heat. With yellowing - it has now turned green (blue + yellow - green) Disappointed because of the way it looks, but it has worked for two seasons.

Very pliable but tangles and leaks
I've had this hose a few years. If it were inexpensive enough I would buy it again, but that's the only way. Although I really liked the pliability and made the effort to recoil after each use, after one year in the sun it was misshapen and caught on itself constantly. Always felt like a tug of war when I watered my plants. After about 2 years it began leaking at the fittings.

Not What I Thougt...
I was surprised how heavy this hose is when filled with water, the spring-action of the coil is greatly reduced. I was hoping to be able to stretch to water a few plants, then have it recoil back to normal. Not so. Coils and springs back fine when empty, but when full it just lays there, stretched out. Takes some work to empty the water out when finished if you want to be able to have it recoil an then toss it up on a shelf. Might work fine for some people's applications, but not what I was looking for.

A very long, useful spring hose
Just received this hose. I have another spring hose that is heavier duty, bigger diameter, and has lasted nearly daily use in the warmer months and has been excellent. Only 4 stars so far for this one. It sure is prettier, a beautiful color, but seems very lightweight. It was just what I needed and so far really beats the traditional hose I was dragging around to water pots in my back patio. I may come back and give an updated review if it proves too lightweight. So far it's so much easier to use than its predecessor I am very happy to have it!

End connector leaks after only 1 month of light use...
The end connector started leaking horribly after only 1 month of light use. Not worth the $79+ I paid for it on Amazon. On the plus side, it is light weight, recoils nicely, and the 75 feet is a good length for my garden needs. If it was $30, I'd try it again, but not for $79+.

Store Easily
The hoses are lightweight and compact which is what I wanted for our camper. The ends are light and it remains to be seen how they will standup to use.
