My first dark romance! Read it in one sitting and almost never done that befor. Good story, good plot twist and spice 🌶!

It’s the last book for the series to be complete and the book is in a good condition. I’m really exciting to start the serie.

While this is a prequel Novella to the Lords series, I read if after I finished the entire series, which didn't bother me. I actually loved having read it last, and getting to see Ryat and Tyson through others eyes.Raylee and Colt (who are step siblings) are absolutely NUTS, and literally despise one another. The lengths they go to, to get under one another skin is insane, and I ate it the F up. This book, true to Shantel, was so incredibly spicy and filthy. We love to see it. I could have read 300 more pages of their story.The ending, to me, felt a tad rushed. And I was honestly waiting for some kind of reaction or blow up with the family due to the fact that step siblings are getting it on behind everyones back. But there was no family conflict or drama in that regard. Which just made it feel a little incomplete to me.OTHERWISE, I absolutely devoured this book. I love all of Shantels work, highly recommend if you're a fan of dark, spicy, taboo books!

Let the world see how much you love me 🔐🔐 This book was the dark romance equivalent of a boy pulling your pigtails and I was soooo here for it 😄Raylee was just such a queen, lighting Colton’s car on fire and just walking away 🔥 Colton’s was a too rich, LORD wannabe giving us an inside perspective of the mess that LORD’s make 🤔 Raylee and Colt together are just as hot and crazy as two fires merging into one 🥵 Both of them are super toxic and depraved as it can get. The inclusion of Tyson and Blackout was a nice distraction from the ridiculous ways Raylee and Colton were involved 😊 The addition of Colton’s best friends as everyone lives together and works for Tyson was a nice way for Shantel Tessier to draw me in, ready to read more LORD spin-off books should they come. This book was fast paced with its hot and crazy moments that made this feel like what the rest of the LORD’s books could have been 😎 I love how Raylee was her own person outside the LORD ecosystem and was such a badass. I read this book after The Ritual and before The Sinner in it’s publish date order 🔐
