Love the smell!
My brother-in-law made me a wooden spurtle made out of maple and I wanted to preserve the beauty of the wood. After doing some online research this one was very highly rated. The scent is amazing! It made the wood so beautiful. I needed the oil to be 100% food safe and this one is. I couldn't be more happy.

I decided to put this to use on my favorite spatula spoon
I just received this, and while I await my new Earlywood spatulas, I decided to put this to use on my favorite spatula spoon, which is made from beechwood. It had started to fray on one side. I sanded it down as best I could, and then I applied this oil. Unlike some other block oils I've used, this has a silky, thin texture, and it soaked right in, immediately. Sometimes oils like this that I've used will sit on top of the wood and you have to work them in, but this just went right into the grains. The difference was immediate and amazing! I'll need to keep working on sanding down that frayed edge, but I can tell this will help me keep my kitchen tools in good shape, and it's much easier to apply than some other block conditioners I've used. In terms of smell, it has a very light citrus scent that dissipates almost immediately. I'll definitely keep buying this as long as they keep selling it!

Brings Wood Utensils back to life!
This oil is easy to use and made my wood untensils look brand new! I like the fact that is safe to use for those untensils you cook with, as it can withstand the heat, versus an oil made for cutting boards which may have oils that can melt in heat and effect the food taste, etc.

Best oil on the market.
I just love this oil, I bought a rolling pin and a soup ladle and it just brings the colour back into them. It protects and gives a wonder light smell. It goes without saying that you don't oil your things if you are to use them in a few minutes. The oil has to "cure" the wood. Just love it. Recommend it on your other wooden articles too. Except those that are "varnished" won't work on that.

My Wooden Spoons Asked Me To Write This
"We love this oil! It feels so good when it penetrates our fibers. It makes our grain and color pop big time. And the smell is awesome. Lemony fresh. So much better than that other oil he was rubbing on us. So we told that little spoon carver of ours to buy more of this oil." And that is exactly what I am going to do...BUY MORE! And if you are like me and like to take care of your wooden utensils I suggest you buy some too. Just leave me some. Mmm-kay?

A little goes a long way - amazing kitchen tool oil
This oil is the best I've ever used for all my wooden kitchen tools (including Earlywood tools of course), and wooden cutting boards. It soaks right in, creating a silky finish. I chucked my other kitchen oils and only use this oil now. It's safe, effective, not messy or greasy, and a little goes a long way.

My great uncle carved a wooden spoon for my grandmother in the 1800s when she left Norway. I t looks even prettier now.
