Poor paint finish
The bed looks lovely however I think we will be replacing very soon. The paint chipped near enough as soon as we got it, in areas that don’t have wear and tear. The company did help by sending a paint sample to touch up. However the paint has continued to chip and it’s not really what you expect of a brand new bed. It looks messy and is inconvenient. I find the colour more creamy yellow than ivory. Feels sturdy enough for an adult.

Great if you are not huge and heavy
Ok, so you get what you pay for. For me at 8 stone this is perfect but if you are on the heavier side id be careful. My son who is 15 and weighs 11stone tried to siton the edge to chat to me and the slats started crekibg heavily as if about to snap. Would have been much better if this bed had stronger or even metal slats. But aside from that, this bed for me is perfect.

Good value, solid frame, easy to assemble.
Really impressed with this bed. Sturdy frame. The wooden slats have a good camber to them which (with a cheap mattress) made it very springy but with a decent mattress made for great comfort. We bought this for a theatre production so took it apart and rebuilt it a lot (very easy to do. A solid yet light weight frame). We put it through it’s paces in the play and it still looks great and is in great shape. Used as a Victorian style hospital bed and really had an authentic look to it despite it being a veneer on the metal.

Looks nice, frame feels nice to the hand, seems like a good bed.
Exactly as it appears in the picture - like an old hospital bed (though nowhere near as high). It really is a creamy, ivory white and the 'pipework' feels solid. Wooden struts feel a bit lightweight but if the weight is well distributed I think they'll be fine for me, and I'm 13 stone.

nice bed
there was a small chip of one of the side rails, but I put it to the back against the wall so that it can't be seen. bed looks great and seems very sturdy.
