I have one other cervical pillow that looks a lot like this one, but it fits me much better than this one does. I'm on the shorter/smaller side (5'4") and I find that my head doesn't reach high enough on the pillow to get the same comfort and support as my other pillow. This one is also a bit thinner/flatter than the one that works well for me in both back and side sleeping. Because I'm a natural side sleeper with shoulder issues, I'm trying to sleep on my back more, and this type of pillow has allowed me to do that more than any other type of pillow. While this size/design doesn't work ideally for me, I think that a taller, back sleeper would find it very comfortable.

Pillows are hard to review because every person is different. I got this to help with shoulder pain. I think it could work very well, especially for back sleeping if it was firmer. Initially, I liked the softness, but it doesn't hold its shape when you're laying on it. It compresses and so instead of holding your neck up at the proper angle, it just compresses flat.

It keeps me in line so I don't sleep like avpretzel. I love it.
