Le ParfaitSuper Deluxe French Glass Preserving Jar 500g (17oz) - 6 pieces

I own more than a dozen of this size Le Parfait jars and so this is just another useful order. This "order six at time deal" is very good price wise. I wouldn't be ordering these jars repeatedly if they weren't really good at their job so I have no problem recommending them to anyone.I prefer Le Parfait jars to their leading competition because I find their fastening system easier to operate than the "other company's" screw lid fastening but then I am older!

This item was originally sold in multipacks of 6 and at the price it was sold was excellent value, even though it was not a genuine le parfait clip top glass jar. I bought several from Amazon in various sizes in 2009-10 and really enjoyed the great value of the items. In 2011 I reordered from the same listed product but sold by an independent seller on Amazon and was disapointed to receive just 1 jar at a price higher than what I'd paid previously for 6! It was as if the multi pack item had been re packaged by this seller with each item charged at the price of the old multi pack! As it was not the item I had bought previously I returned the item and was refunded. This year I searched again for my great value multi packs and came across the same listing. I checked the product dimensions with an unopened multi pack I still had and was happy to note that the product dimension matched exactly. So confident I was ordering a multi pack for sure this time, I placed an order for 2 sets only to be disappointed when only 2 jars arrived. When I pointed out the mismatch between the listed description of the product and what I had received to Buzzbase the seller of these items,I received a very rude customer service email accusing me of all sorts of trouble making. I took the trouble to explain the cause of the error and confusion and would have expected Buzzbase to make change to their listing so that old customers of the multi packs would not face the situation I did. None of us can afford wasted time and effort. Distance sellers are obliged to refund customers fully including P&P when an error occurs on their account. Buzzbase instead of making this offer replied that I could return the item if I was not satisfied at my own cost. I had not opened these items because it was clear to me the packs contained single jars and not the multi packs I'd hoped for. I was waiting for Buzzbase to organize its collection and left it unopened in its original packaging. When I was basically told to return the item at my own cost I decided to not waste more time and effort on this issue and opened the packaging only to find that one of the jars sent had a small crack in it. When I brought this matter to the attention of Buzzbase via Amazon their reaction predictably was to hold me responsible for the crack! Just felt I had to share my experience with this seller and to note that they still have not changed their product dimensions despite the error having been brought to their attention in 2011!

I thought I ordered four individual preserving jars.I have received four packs of SIX jars!!. Was this a despatch mistake or should description say each pack contains SIX jars??I don't know, no response from customer services, they just said return if not suitable!Anyway Now I have realisd this size is too big for my purpose so have to arrange collection of a large box which was not well packed.

I made the mistake of ordering what I thought were Le Parfait preserving jars from this trader. They are not Le Parfait original jars and to advertise them as Le Parfait is misleading and incorrect. Le Parfait is a registered trademark and these jars are made by a French company with the original Le Parfait logo embossed into the jar. These jars are a cheap imitation and not at all what I was expecting. I have reported them to trading standards as I feel they are misleading in their advertising. If I had wanted cheap preserving jars I would have ordered cheap ones.

Le lot de 6 est parfait pour diversifier les préparations.Un indispensable en cuisine pour ceux qui aiment tout faire eux-mêmes !
