The dish itself is fairly small so I started putting some of the Roudybush maintenance nibles in it because there are no hulls in that. I see my guys going up and getting some every now and then. The thing I like about it is that you can easily place it anywhere in the cage and the birds took to it right away because it is also a perch.If you use it for seed, you’ll be replacing the food often because the dish is small.

Fits all cages and perfect for a bird snack. My parakeet has already learned to lift the cup out of the holder. Works GREAT for small birds!

I bought 2 of these for water and seed because I like to use natural products in my birdcages. They are well-made, attractive, and (a bonus I wasn’t expecting) there’s less seed on the floor; this is due to the feed bowl not against the side of the cage, rather, it protrudes into the center. Yes, I know, all birdcages come with feeder troths, but I do like natural products for my birds. And I think my birds are happier because this bowl mimics a tree branch. I recommend it. I think it’s a good investment for your pet bird.

This is a cool product. Would definitely get a bigger size. Would probably be good for a finch, but a little small for parakeets as it held about 1/4 cup of food or water. The bowls aren’t very deep, so will be using them for veggies and treats. Very sturdy and easy for bird to perch.

I have two parakeets in separate cages (they don't want to be friends lol) and I bought them each one of these to eat from. It's so easy to set up and then so easy to clean and refill. I don't have to unscrew anything or shake the cage just pop up the bowl, wash it out and put in new food! They also feel safe to stand on it and I got the T shaped ones because they feel safer sometimes eating and not too close to one side of the cage. They can easy fly from it or climb to it without too much effort. My boys love it! :)

nice product but so smallest than pictures showed... Not for cockatiel but this is nice for parakeet
