Was time to replace an old helmet and decide upon this.Used this for a 3 day cycling tour around France and Belgium. It’s light and comfortable enough that I could wear it for 6-8 hours, 3 days consecutively. And the design allows for decent amount of air flow to keep you cool.White colour helps you to stand out a bit more in darker conditions. And the build quality fills me with confidence that it would have me covered should I come off.My only comment against it is that I found it quite difficult to attach a rear light to the helmet.

Bought this for myself to replace a Lixada Cycle Helmet that I didn't find comfortable and so didn't wear. I partly chose this one for the mips protection, this means that in the event of an impact less rotational force is applied to your skull (I'm glad to say I haven't tested that aspect of the helmet so far).When trying this on for the first time I noticed the step up in quality from my previous helmet (probably to be expected as it was nearly 4 times more expensive) it was much lighter and is comfortable to the point that I almost forget I'm wearing it. It is also cool in the summer.I've had the helmet nearly a year now and I'm still very happy with my purchase.

Bough one 4 years ago, came off my bike a day ago doing 41mph down a hill and the back of my head hit the road first, 1 day of mild concussion and all fine. This helmet did its job ! impact at the back and cracked at the front where the impact force circled around the helmet and the Mips system did its job as well. No pain in the bones of my neck it completely protected me from a crash that sheared the right hand drop/break/gear leaver into 2 and that's through the metal shaft inside the lever, I was so impressed with this helmet, I have bought another to replace the one that at the very least saved me from multiple skull fractures or worst death.

Fits well looks good. Well ventilated and light.Importantly I crashed in mine today. 30mph to zero instantly (Strava has its other benefits), head first.The helmet worked brilliantly. It has a slight hairline crack where I impacted. I did end up concussed but alive and after 5 head x rays and a ct scan, I’m perfectly well.I’ve properly tested this helmet and can say it’s a life saver.

Good helmet nothing to dislike

After purchasing a Boardman helmet that was so uncomfortable, I decided to spend a bit more money on a decent helmet. This one ticked all the boxes and is so comfortable I almost forget im wearing it. The price is reasonable when comfort is good. Hopefully I'll never have to find out if the safety is up to standard

Ich nutze diesen Helm zum Rennradfahren.Er ist sehr leicht und trägt sich angenehm, auch wird der Kopf gut belüftet.Auf die Kopfform lässt er sich gut anpassen.Für ambitioniertere Fahrer wahrscheinlich aufgrund der schlechten aerodynamischen Eigenschaften ungeeignet, aber für alle die noch Beinhaare haben absolut empfehlenswert!

Leichter & sehr gut belüfteter Helm mit perfektem Sitz vermittelt Sicherheit im täglichen Stadtverkehr & auf längeren Touren.Zum Teil lösten sich die Polster bereits im ersten Jahr.Polster festkleben oder kletten & weiter fahren.

Mipsbefestigung bleibt an den Haaren hängen. Sehr unangenehm und lässt sich nur anderweitig lösen.

Mein zweiter Giro. Den ersten verwende ich seit ein paar Jahren auf dem Rennrad. Diesen habe ich mir für mein Stadtrad gekauft. Der Sitz ist (subjektiv) perfekt, sogar mit Regenüberzug. Die im Vergleich zu meinem ersten Giro noch einmal filigraner gewordene Schnalle am Kinngurt lässt sich leider auch mit dünnen Handschuhen nicht öffnen und schließen. Das ist im Winter ein vermeidbarer Umstand. Die Sicherheit des Helms kann ich nicht objektiv beurteilen. Subjektiv: Er richtet sich aber beim Aufsetzen von selbst so ein, dass er richtig schön tief auf der verletzlichen Stirn sitzt, ohne mir Brillenträger die Sicht zu behindern.
