Sturdy and holds a lot of shoes
This shoe rack is perfect for what I need it for. It’s sturdy and holds a lot of pairs of shoes. I use to have one of those clipped racks and it was held together with duct tape and kept collapsing. My shoes were just a pile in my closet basically. This is still a relatively cheap rack, but it’s great for what I need it for, sturdy, and holds many shoes! My husband assembled it in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend if you don’t want to spend a lot of money.

Easy to assemble shoe rack is practical expandable.
This shoe rack is very easy to assemble. There are no tools needed, and none included! The metal rods ( I chose the bronze ) just snap together with a push pin holding the the assemble up. This makes it very easy to put together and can be done in less than ten minutes after you read the instructions. However, the fact that the rods are simply pushed together makes the shoe rack overall a bit unsteady. The real issue is today most of the casual shoes and even many of the more dressier shoes do not have a traditional heel, which would hold the shoe on the rack a bit tighter. Most of my shoes have a solid rubberized sole with no heel. All in all, this is a very useful and very easy to assemble shoe rack and is recommended.

Solved our shoe issue
I don't know why but my child is constantly gifted shoes. Three pairs of crocs (after donating an additional 2), two sketchers, two nike, three lace ups, two slip on, two slippers, 3 pairs of sandals and a final pair of boots strangle us as they take over the house. I've got my fair collection of shoes as well, but keep them in boxes in the closet for special occasions. We've tried using baskets to keep them together, but that makes it hard to see which pair is where and takes extra time to dig for a specific set. With this shoe rack she now keeps her shoes in one spot. I had to incorporate an incentive of a sticker chart with video game reward to kickstart the positive habit.

A Little Shaky
This shoe rack will hold about 8 pairs of adult-sized shoes at the farthest extension. Smaller-sized kid's shoes would fall through the rails so this rack wouldn't work for them. It is a bit unstable and shaky so I had to push it against a wall to help keep it steady. It should have some kind of clamp to keep the adjustable rails in position. If you knock into it without enough shoes on it to hold it extended, the rails will slide back and forth easily. A clamp would probably make it more steady as well. Good enough for the closet floor where it won't be jostled very often.

Needed help
Fantastic shoe rack but a be-bop-boodo to assemble. It was simple enough but I literally did not have the strength to pull the fabric tight enough to secure them to the metal bars. I had to get my handyman to do it.I have both arthritis and Parkinson’s, so my strength is way down, but not that far. I thought. Anyway, now that it’s finished, it doesn’t look bad, holds together very well, and doesn’t have any negative issues. Plus, the reason it was so hard to put together is a good thing, as the fabric shelves do not bend, even when filled with shoes.I now have two of these and plan to get a third. So, yeah, get it, it’s worth hollering for the handyman.

Average Durability, Adequate Storage
The adjustable feature is helpful for different shoe sizes and spaces like entryways, closets, or doorways. However, the assembly process might be a bit tricky, and the durability of the metal construction feels average. It's an okay choice for organizing shoes but could benefit from better assembly instructions and sturdier materials.
