I have a bog standard B&Q plastic watering can and this does fit but only just. Ideally it would be slightly wider to go further down the neck of the watering can. However, it does give the finer spray I was looking for.

its just really good and fits on two watering cans I have. Great for seedlings but really multipurpose.

Not only did this not fit the watering can I bought it for, it didn't fit any watering cans that I own, so shouldn't be sold as "universal fit". The stem tapers, so would presumably wedge onto the end of a spout if it happened to be both long enough and of a suitable width, but none of mine were compatible. Don't waste your time unless you know for sure that you've got a "universal" watering can: it was harder than it should have been to get reimbursed. The only way to get a refund through the seller would've meant paying £3.99 to post the thing back (for a £7 item) and they did not respond to my emails. The order inexplicably said it was not covered by the A-Z guarantee, so I couldn't request a refund the usual way through Amazon either. I had to contact CS, who told me, as it was a marketplace item, it should have been covered. The agent didn't know why I couldn't get a refund that way.Am fed up with Amazon continuously allowing sellers to advertise inaccurately, with no repercussions when customers draw both sides' attention to the discrepancies. This is still being sold as 'universal' - it doesn't specify which universe, but it's not ours. It shouldn't be up to reviewers to shame suppliers into providing accurate descriptions. Stop wasting people's time, energy and this universe's resources by doing it properly in the first place.

I wanted a very fine spray so the delicate flowers would not be damaged. This is perfect! The attachment didn't quite fit but with a bit of effort its on ok.

This rose arrived on time and appears to be well made and sturdy but sadly it doesn’t fit any of my watering cans. I have three different cans for different purposes and it leaks on all of them. Great for cooling your feet in the hot weather but no good for the plants. To be absolutely fair I have managed to use it on one of the cans but only by attaching it with a Jubilee clip which is not ideal because I have to fetch a screwdriver every time I want to take it off. Next time I will buy a new can complete with rose.

Rose head would be fine if only it fit my existing HAWS deluxe watering can. It looked like it would from the picture, but the stem where it attached to watering can was much wider and more flared than would fit. Returned it.

This is NOT A Haws Rose. It does not fit the nozzle end of the watering can it is too big. I am very disappointed in the product and returned it.
