I almost threw it away because it had no power and even with the USB cord, it would not power up. Then just screwing around with, I figured out how to work it.1. It comes with a male-to-male USB cord, which is very rare. You need it to power up the flashlight batteries from a USB port (like cords that powers up phones or on computers) but it goes into the flashlights female USB port which is never used as a power input source in anything else. Very strange, but they give you the cord.2. HERE IS THE TRICK. The main handle switch of the flashlight HAS TO BE IN THE MIDDLE SETTING. In most flashlights the off switch is either all up or all down. This one is strange that the off switch is the middle of three settings. Only then will it start to charge up with the cord plugged in.3. With the handle switch in the middle position,and the male-to-male USB cord connected to a power source, IT WILL POWER UP! The recharging is kind of slow, but just leave it overnight and it will be done.4. Then it is a really good flashlight worth twice or three times the price, and could provide power to your phone or other device too! The flashlight at full power will charge my iPhone 6s up 15% in an hour, so probably 20% on any other phone. That is enough for an hour of talk or a day of standby.

This is nice bright flashlight with good functions. It lacks directions so I can't recharge it because it isn't obvious where the plug is on the unit. The front lens looks like it is supposed to unscrew but. if so, it is so tight that I can't turn it. Maybe I need a big wrench but you shouldn't have to use heavy tools with a unit like this It.bothered me that they apparently haven't tried their own flashlight. I had high hopes but am ready to return this unit unless they read this and tell me the secrets to operating it.Steve Cuff [email protected]

It charges through its USB port. It works well. Actually a really good throw for a cheap light, nice focused beam. For $8, absolutely 👍

Cheap plastic, but for the price expected. The high power light is more powerful than any light I have ever had. Cool that I can also recharge my cell phone from this. I’ll be buying more for every car I own.

Bought this for my teenager to light up her gymnastics routine during the night. She can charge her phone while using it ~ bonus! This flashlight is brighter than my husbands (very pricing) hunting flashlight. Amazing quality for the price. Completely satisfied.

Seem to be a great product so far I turned one on to check out the lights everything looks good so far. I bought this for a xmas gift so I'm not sure about all the features on it.

While the light is bright and all seems to work well. There is no cord to charge it with. It does come with a cord but its to charge a phone.

I’d give 10 stars if possible.. this thing is awesome! Perfect size, light weight, bright, well made and RECHARGABLE!! Yay
